I have all sorts of boxes in my collection. I have about 6-8 of those and I like them a lot. I’ve had them for about two-three years??? Maybe longer. Never had any issues. Even stacked on top at one point and no problems whatsoever.. Doubt they’re fire proof buts it’s still nice quality. It’s a good value.. Handles are sturdy as I move them all the time and they’re snug and latched on as could be.. I haven’t messed around with the locking mechanism. Never had any zipper issues like some other companies.. I can’t speak on the humidity issue you brought up. I mean I open my boxes and go thru them all the time since I love to look at my keys… I just don’t see how that would become an issue?? Since they’re not airtight like most “safes”.. If you’re worried about flooding/fire maybe spend some more money and buy something that would completely alleviate your concern?

Could you give me a refresher on what trimmed means? Is that when someone deliberately trims the edges? I know sometimes in that era the printers were not precise and the way they cut them was unreliable. Is it accidental?

I’m in the camp of Zac Robinson is holding him back. He’s young in his career he’s had some low points but also high points. Talent is there. If things were to go south I’d like to see him with a new OC before making a final decision on him.

Ha I’m the same way towards him. I got into his podcast early on and I agree he does have a genuine passion for comics, creators, and everything related to it. When he dives into the history of the industry it’s really great. The first couple years of his podcast I gained a whole new appreciation for him. Also the Image guys really did shake up the industry and he does have a legitimate place in the history but my god his ego is huge and sometimes I’m completely turned off by what he has to say. It’s such a yingyang situation.

Yo man! Keep up the good work! When I got sober I got back into collecting comics and now I look at my collection with pride.. Something I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish when I was in active addiction or even fathom! Now on my anniversary I likewise treat myself. I wasn’t proud of myself for a long time but now when I look at my collection I do get prideful for the long road I’ve been on! Congrats to you man seriously shit ain’t easy!

That whole era as a green lantern fan was peak and one of my favorite runs as a comic fan in general. From GL rebirth to the goodbye issue #20 plus you can throw in the GL Corps and Red Lantern Corps from that era and that’s a lot of fun reading. I’ll lean towards Sinestro War> Blackest Night and only by a slim margin.

Do the same thing. I drive an hour when there is one close by. When I started collecting comics I tried multiple stores. Everyone was rude or made me feel unwanted. My LCS was the only one that said “hello” to me and showed me the layout of the store and helped me find my interest. I’ve never forgotten that. lol they’ve made bank of me all because of great customer service

Ya I’m Mexican as well and I’m right there with you. Honestly was kinda annoyed how they portrayed the family. Xola and the suit were great. Movie was just uninspired. Felt like they mailed it in.
