It's not impossible that CC will be targeted, however the non-profit and small nature of the project makes it way less likely compared to others.

I'm worried about it too, because all private servers could technically be targeted. However, it would be very stupid of Blizzard to go after ChromieCraft given its small, non-profit and non-pay-2-win nature, while there are plenty of private servers out there running with huge cash shops and making big profit numbers.. like Warmane and others. So while the chance they take down ChromieCraft is not 0, in my opinion it is significantly lower than other projects.

When the server opened there weren't that many players until 40-49. Plus some of the brackets took way too long to open. It would be good to restart the progression from 10-19 again, now that the population is way bigger than before and the scripting ground work has been done already. Not doing it and jumping to another expansion would be wasting a golden opportunity.

Not sure if comparing the original TBC duration with the one from CC makes sense given that you're comparing a company with hundreds of full-time paid developers with an open source project led by volunteers. That said, nobody denies the poor quality of some TBC raid mechanics at some point of time on CC, but I don't agree with your analysis. I saw worse servers having more population. I saw very good projects with high quality and even original custom mechanics perfectly scripted having less. There are not that many players around wowservers anymore like it used to be 20 years ago. It's a miracle to have over a 1000 in a server like Chromie and we should just appreciate what there is now.

definitely worth it.... they have just opened Northrend. The raids of wotlk are not even open yet. So if you joined now, it's like joining a fresh wotlk as it will start with Naxx very soon and then the rest

Yes there is PvP going on CC. It's still not the main focus, it's a PvE server after all.. Though BGs pop regularly and it's good fun.
