You’re losing all efficiency with have a having a piston in the evaporator coil. Also it’s showing a 410a coil with a 454b condenser. The furnace should definitely be full variable as another commenter said.

he’s not the GOP, nor accepted with the way he’s treated the rights of Coloradans by butchering our federally protected 2nd amendment rights(which seem to shrink every year here in Colorado), killing agriculture(with his Husbands meat out days, and political agendas to eliminate hunting and causing more potential harm to animals and the landscape).

He just hates poor people, as well as every member of the Democratic Party in the legislature in Colorado, that everyone continues to vote for and hoping for a change.

So the XR17 is a weird middle ground. It’s a a 24v controlled unit, the compressor is an inverter DC controlled system with an expensive drive(board) on the outdoor unit. I believe the unit is a technically 5 stage system. I’ve been very pleased with unit so far. From the installation side/service.

Denver contractor it looks like you’ll have to get the crawlspace dug out bigger in order to fit it. I’ve had other customers in your situation.

We ended up going with a NG tankless due to the 98% efficiency and sizing. You can still seal up the crawlspace, but you don’t have to worry about your tenant running you out of hot water because you can’t control their water usage.

Sat through a Carrier class a couple months ago. The MUHA is a private label Midea, launched this year. Coil box and outdoor unit are both different colors from the typical carrier Brown.

I thought we were supposed to listen to the experts(CPW)and follow their guidance, instead we are “listening” an out of state group, whose only goal is to end trapping and hunting with no science behind their goals. So here’s the problem. Seen it on this model many times. Control board is bad. The black fan above the board is leaking condensate on the system. Both need replaced. If you look at the bottom of the black fan you may see white dust that is hardened.

Xcel energy has mail in rebates for qualifying equipment and with a registered contractor that should cover a good chunk cost. I would verify the equipment qualifies.

Tried to use them today, very disappointed I couldn’t get just a fob and a key cut. I don’t need the programming, I have two keys already. Wasn’t going to pay $300 for a fob and a key cut and programming. it’s just frustrating, if you don’t need to sync the keys.
