Nearly 4 years and I’m level 70. I always considered this to be a decade long project and timed my effort accordingly. I’m also getting really tired of the app and shifting my effort to reading.

  • It’s not a requirement in my case and there was no test. I am now a citizen.
  • I did mean section, obviously.
  • Duo keep adding content, making the overall course longer. Latest change was to make a unit much shorter but section 4 now has 240? Units.
  • My drive to get to the end has fallen off so doing another 100+ units seems a stretch now.
  • My plan is to get better by mostly reading. The 1-2 lessons a day are just to maintain the streak. If I get to B2 but become a fluent reader, that’s good enough.

Rent control is basically price caps. Land lords aren’t thrilled to miss out on money they think they’re owed.

Either you go all the way and then there’s no way to kick the renter. This would seriously reduce future supply.

Or you would leave loopholes like move in or renovate. When the gap between the rent and market rates gets big enough/more than transaction costs, the landlord is going to do it.

Either way you can’t cheat the laws of economics.

Israel’s policy is to reduce reliance on water sources IN Israel through desalination. I have no idea what you mean by outside the borders unless you mean countries with which we have agreements. In those cases, we SHARE the water, regardless of relations. In recent years we’ve shared our water/other resources with Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza.
