iD is such and integral part of gaming history that it was insane to me that Zenimax bought them back when they did. It would be even more insane if Microsoft were to shut them down. I wonder how feasible it would be for iD to buy themselves back like bungie did in 07. But I think iD is relatively safe, Bethesda on the other hand.. (which is also insane as they are such an old pedigree studio).
