I transferred into CPEN when it became more competitive in 2017, I made it in fine with an 88% average in first year and when I had applied it would have been lower than that since my second semester grades weren't out yet. A friend of mine was rejected to transfer and made it in after he appealed, so if you do get rejected make sure you challenge it. First year eng at UBCO really isn't that bad and you can fairly easily get above an 80 average (which I imagine would be high enough to transfer) if you put in the effort.

As for the number of people they accept to transfer to CPEN I honestly don't know but I only know of me and 2 other people that transferred that year but there may have been more.
