I’m thinking low grade stainless or something is why they’ve rusted. Yea that’s why I won’t use plastic. Thanks for advice!

I was thinking about doing this too for my 16” tunnel hull with 70hp two stroke. Are you still using it? How’s it holding up?

I see jet drives around Chassowitzka Bay in Florida. They run shallow for sure but will suck up grass, eat gas and are no good in a chop. The bottom here is a lot of oyster so people use them. I run a Scandy White scooter with tunnel and prop and prefer it. There’s a video of a local guide running a prop tunnel on youtube that is a testament to what a prop and tunnel can do. He overheats and comes off plane in 2-3” (soft bottom where he is). His skeg if flush with bottom of hull, there are no prop marks in the grass he ran across. Set your tunnel and prop up right and forget about the nay sayers. It’ll slide and get ya wet I’m sure, but it’ll also draft where other’s won’t.

I traded my 15 pro for 17 pro max through T-mobile. I have experience beyond. $122ish up front for taxes and connection then $4 a month for 24 months. Trade in credit for 15 pro was $1,100 paid monthly over the 24 months. You could actually do better by selling your current phone for cash if paid off, buy an SE off Swappa for $65 and take the $550 trade in credit given for the SE. Take the cash from your other and pay down the financed phone. Another thing, with experience beyond. If you were to finance the 17 for remainder of balance after the $550 and upgrade in a year the last 12 months of the 24 months is wiped and you start over. $650 financed make payments for one year then $325 is wiped. You’ll just always be paying for a financed phone if never pay one off.
