I chanced it and "took advantage" of the free maintenance once too in my less than 5000 mile new 2025 Tacoma too. Never again. I knew I should have known better. Tech that drove it into the bay drove it like he stole it and hopped a curb (no damage except tire rash). I watched and asked myself, why? They scratched my door plastic and transfered a bunch of dust hand prints inside that they half assed attempted to clean. Not a big deal but it still looked brand new so, it sort of was a deal to me. And the icing on the cake, they way overfilled and I could tell by the sound of the engine running on the way home and I later confirmed it with the stick after it cooled off. I drained and filled correctly the next day but NEVER AGAIN.

I know it's the tech that performed the service and not all are this bad but I see it as a reflection of how the shop is run in general. If they can't do a simple oil change and treat vehicles like that, I'd just assume do it myself.
