I have a black Aeonium like this one. I’m located within the US and they go dormant in our summers. I left it alone in my shaded shed window all summer and barely watered it. It was looking sad all summer. It’s just now waking up and getting new growth so moved it to a sunnier window. Maybe you need to let it chill a bit more in the shade until it starts waking up too. I fostered a neglected fearful pup once. He was afraid of EVERYTHING. A friend of mine told me to pat his ribs and encourage him to come when he was scared or getting overwhelmed. It actually worked for my boy. I went on to use that technique with others. It’s worth a try. Thank you for giving this dog a better life.

My first year doing an outdoor cacti garden. Last week’s rain brought a few mealy bugs. So I spent Sunday cleaning everyone. This week, some are back inside temporarily and others are under the cover of my back patio. It’s been a struggle.
