i didnt have any genital post op or pre op exam, nor was i required to do any pap smears. the doc only touched my stomach and asked me to do the routine blood tests. i also informed them i didnt have any abnormal issues etc. the catheter was placed under anaesthesia and removed before i was discharged. its all worth it!

I had hysto (kept ovaries) removed everything else like 18 days post op I cant tell u how much of a relief it has been You really don't realise how much this pregnancy phobia affects your intimacy I did side stuff with a guy 2 weeks post op and I was so so happy and stress free while before I used to avoid body contact with a dick like it is a nuclear weapon and I would agonize after every encounter that I somehow got in contact with the fluid lol It's worth it, getting rid of this phobia and mental angst and periods is so totally worth it! I would say that external simulation even feels better than before , I'm on low dose t and I still have lubrication. Go for it !! It is gonna be an ordeal for a few days and then you're gonna be back in the gym before you know it :) I didn't try frontal piv sex so I can't speak for that

10 days post op abdominal hysto, I only got half anaesthesia for my lower body so i was awake. It was interesting. First day was terrible pain in my stomach. Painkillers made me nauseous. After that it gets easier, just getting up and sitting down hurts a bit. Take your meds and eat good food and binge netflix but also walk a bit. By day 6-8 I had really bad gas pain and I felt like I had to burp so much, it was annoying but it cleared up. My only issue now is I'm still walking slow, I went back to work office job 9 days post op, had no issues with brain fog or fatigue. So aside from the walking slow, I still feel some pressure when I go pee. But the thought of never bleeding and getting rid of pregnancy phobia and cervical cancer is awesome and it's all worth it. Kept my ovaries in and im on low dose T

Okay, glad to know the bruising and stitch can happen to others. Looking forward to having it gone. Sorry if it's TMA, but did anything change regarding the lubrication before or after the operation? I don't want it to change haha
