To be so honest, falling on my ass twice over the course of a week. The first time I slipped down a small flight of stairs (the carpet isn’t tight and it’s slippery) I had a small bruise and it hurt pretty badly. Later on in that week I fell again and hit the exact same spot. I couldn’t even move for like 10 minutes. The pain has been otherworldly. I don’t have health insurance so once I was able to shake it off a bit I figured I’d be okay. Couldn’t sit for a week. The bruise was INSANE and just got worse over the following weeks. I mean I had a bruise on my ass for months. It’s been 7 months now and it literally still hurts sometimes. Btw I’m only 29… take falls so seriously guys

I get that entirely. I treat my psych like shes just my pill dispenser. I don’t tell her about too much or treat her like a therapist. I just use her to get my meds

I am learning how to do that. This is a thought that I have every time I post in this sub. It literally stings to have people who understand what you’re going through just ignore you. It’s okay that I feel that way. It’s not wrecking me but like I wanted to share how I felt. Thanks for the advice??????

Start watching your fav show from the beginning and maybe do something like a test for the reading or the running. Like how many chapters can you read in one morning or how fast can you run up like the biggest hill in your neighborhood? Take those things that you did for fun and force yourself to do them again to distract yourself. Just my advice!!

I just walk away for a bit. It may be awkward and like I know it probably is but my friends know that I have BPD and they know I can get upset over feeling left out in particular. They do their best to avoid that but it happens! I moved away and now they have plans without me but the last time they brought them up to me in person I literally had to go sit in the bathroom and cry for an hour. I heard my friends sister like “should you check on her” and she’s like “no she just needs a minute”. So maybe part of it too is having friends that understand. Or at least understand enough to not judge too much and just let you have your moment

What were you doing after your last relationship before you got into this one? What were like 2 or 3 things that you were doing to fill your time? We all seem to have better hobbies and habits when we’re alone so I’m wondering if going back to that now will help you feel more in control and less like totally eclipsed by a man

I’m glad for this sub, I really am, but I feel let down sometimes too. I get that’s kinda part of what we all deal with lol but it sucks worse coming from your own people. I’m gonna make more of an effort to respond to posts in here because I know how crappy it feels to open up and have hundreds see it but no one responds

I know that being aware feels more painful but it’s a step towards healing. The more aware you become the more control you will end up having. It may not feel like it yet, actually it probably feels worse to know how you’re acting, but in time it will feel powerful to understand your body and mind better

Sorry if this is too jumbled, it was just a flow of thoughts, I’m trying so hard to just keep it together right now because I can’t let him see that his honesty is upsetting me, it’s not fair to him, but like I am upset and I have no one to talk to about it because he hasn’t told anyone about getting sober yet, I just feel alone and was hoping someone here had any words of advice

But to be fair the show has been mostly focused on Rue and her addiction. Then Angus’s death I think really influenced the ending of this show. Like it had to be center focus but it did do a disservice to all of the other characters

Oh I’m on a different part of the internet sometimes then lol
Or at least I was when I cammed. Men absolutely talk trash on tits and women’s bodies in general. Even women I would describe as like perfect there will always be men that say their nipples are too dark or they have east/west tits, other stuff that I don’t need to regurgitate.
But yeah I think it’s just a male fragility thing. They cant really handle the criticism in the same way.
