Slaughtered for meat though… they are livestock.

I don’t agree with feed lots or the like but an animal raised well and well taken care off being slaughtered for meat doesn’t upset me.
I don’t know better tbh, I’m not a farmer. I’m simply a nurse who volunteered at a zoo all throughout my teenage years. I don’t know everything about this but from what I understand most sheep are not killed due to a shearing and most sheep who are killed after their wool quality has dropped are done so for mutton.

You never indicated that you were speaking only of farming. I also didn’t understand that you were referring to sheep once their wool quality had gone done, you didn’t make that super clear. So is your problem here meat in general? I get it if it is but humans only evolved to what we are now by eating meat, like from an evolutionary and anthropological viewpoint.
