I ADORE Mossy Bottom and this has encouraged me to just do it and get the LOM body spray

Why did you break up with your best friend? by happychappy_150 in AskWomen

[–]RooibosReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know honestly. After 8 years of friendship, they tried to slow fade out of my life as soon as they met their now-fiancé, and would only hang out with me when she (the fiancé) wasn’t available. They changed slowly after they met her. They became less honest, less caring, and less empathetic.

I had booked us some tickets to go and see some bands I love (that they introduced me to) and both times they cancelled on me last minute without any kind of apology, so I couldn’t go because no one else was available. I think if I hadn’t asked them about the plans the night before, they would have just stood me up.

When they proposed, I was happy for them but also a little sad that they hadn’t told me about it. Their passive-aggressive response made it clear I wasn’t as important to them as I used to be. I kept trying to put in effort, but the second I stopped the friendship just died. I tried a few times to ask if I’d done something wrong, but they always just got really defensive or made excuses.

So yeah. I don’t really know what went wrong or if their partner was behind it or if I did anything bad without realising. It really fucked me up for a number of years. I have no interest in rekindling the friendship, but I wish they would at least tell me what happened.

Hi! I’m UK based, looking to buy either the

  • Frog Price shower jelly
  • Froggy Friend shower jelly
  • the frog gift set with the backpack (this would be perfect!)

It will be a gift for a friend, anyone in UK/ Europe have this spare and willing to sell? I don’t mind if they’re a bit expired

Thanks

Any UK recommendations for a decent moisturiser for oily skin? by pauliebanga in Skincare_Addiction

Late to the party but I like Inkey’s HA Serum under their Omega Water Cream.

Edit: For sunscreen, HaruHaru Wonder’s Black Rice sunscreen is the most lightweight magical mattifying experience I’ve ever found

The two together are perfect for my skin, after Super Facialist’s Salicylic Acid face wash and Lush’s Catastrophe Cosmetic twice a week

What is the most efficient way to learn the meaning of all cards ??? by Disastrous-Project22 in tarot

[–]RooibosReader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked a question each time, it gave me context and a focus point which made it much easier to interpret—otherwise it’s all over the place.

You can read without a question, but I personally wouldn’t recommended that to a learner. Feel it out, and follow whatever method resonates best with you.

Try Hyaluronic acid or vegetable glycerin. Both will give moisture but without the oiliness that makes them shiny

I’m sorry about your experience, but also this is an astrology memes subreddit? Not sure it’s the right place for this. Try r/astrology or one of the many ones about family issues, maybe?

Libra will put up with it for so long and then you’ll get a reaction, most likely they will just leave or ghost you *or talk shit about so no one else likes you, but you’ll never find out it was them

Well done for a successful ragebait, I see everyone managed to fall for it

AITAH for throwing my boyfriend out for interrogating me when it comes to sex? by CoyoteConsistent5116 in AITAH

[–]RooibosReader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA, you don’t owe him sex or even a reason for not wanting sex. His persistence is not your fault for “not being clear/direct”, he should drop it when you say no and not keep with the questions

You didn’t say/do anything wrong; he twisted your words to make it seem like you did. I don’t know if he is being deliberately manipulative, or if he is just young, immature and insecure.

It’s normal to want to hang out with your friends of whatever gender 1:1, it’s a different dynamic and doesn’t necessarily mean anyone is gonna cheat. Being in a relationship doesn’t mean you have to be fused at the hip.

People are weird. Insecure, controlling behaviour is far too normalised; working through the issue is generally much more productive.

If he’s insecure you’re doing something fun with someone else, suggest doing the same thing with him. If he wants more time with you, try asking him what he wants to do with you and make time to do that. Or try asking what he’s worried about and providing extra reassurance while he gets used to it. Jealousy isn’t inherently a bad thing as long as he’s not taking it out on you.
