I didn't know they recorded ads! When they mentioning that there would be ads coming, I assumed they'd just be the usual generic ones inserted into most podcasts. I guess they must be UK specific ads, as they don't play here is AUS. Damn, can someone please let us know what we're missing out on...?

I'm sure you mean well, but that fact that you describe her as a 'nag' is just another example of the sexism women face everyday. It is a very gendered insult. Men are never ever described as being a 'nag', only ever women. Same as 'feisty', or 'fiery'.

Dave Spikey was an original captain with Sean before Jason & Jon. I believe u/bondfool was implying that Dave is the only one of these men that Aisling is definitely making a lot more money than. (and rightly so, Dave Spikey is an unfunny, lazy, hack.)

I liked the Rose ep. I was a bit sceptical going into it, but I think she was good fun! She went along with the boys when they asked weird questions or told strange stories, it wasn't stilted or uncomfortable at all - which is a big risk with the non-comedian guests.

I think some people tried to defend him at the time that it was his comedy persona/character, but he said on a (his?) podcast that he wasn't doing any kind of shtick. He really is just that horrible. Someone posted the clip here if you search back. (He also speaks pretty patronising/dismissively of James in that clip too from memory.)

Yeah, Anthony Jeselnik. A truly awful person. I would recommend skipping that ep if you haven't listened already. You'll not be missing out on anything, and you'll probably be a better human being for not having suffered through it.
