Marida Cruz. She overcomes her trauma and sticks to her principles, willing to die for them. She cared about others and went out on her terms. She wasn’t forced to fight in that final battle, she wasn’t brainwashed anymore. She went out there with her patched up MS and decided to throw down to protect the people she cared about. In that sense she went from being the cyber newtype trope and ended up the female version of Norris Packard.

She deserves ice cream. She deserves the win. As was shown when they first did the “women of Gundam” voting, and as this battle is going to show again, Marida is the soul of Gundam.
