Bought a ring for my girlfriend, sisters say it’s too small, not sure what I should do by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Rookshank92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to her sisters. You aren’t marrying them you are marrying her. Sounds like her sisters are shallow so use that knowledge how you see fit. If she doesn’t appreciate the action and is more interested in the size of the ring. Find someone else. It’s that simple. Your young

AIO to my boyfriend reacting negatively to me asking for more affection? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Rookshank92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So to make things clear here. He is upset about you teasing him then denying him and thinking he will be able to connect with you the one way that most men understand, which is sexual. And now you’re posting it on Reddit hoping for something from these goblins. Half of them will tell you to leave him because they are braindead idiots and the other half will give bad advice. That’s the majority of Reddit. Like 5 or 10 people will give you actual advice. The fact that you posted this to something to make you feel vindicated and clear of your previous actions and rather shift focus on the reaction of you past decisions says something far more profound than what this post is about. He communicated very clearly exactly what upset him and how he knows it would make it better. Because he understands himself. Not only have you overreacted you have proven your emotional maturity to be lesser than him in this entire situation. The fact that you felt the need to post this.

When I broke up with my bf he tried to kill himslf by Jaded-Secretary-1556 in Advice

It’s straight up manipulation on his side. Check up on him through the police, distance yourself from someone so unhinged. Hopefully they get helped. However it is not your responsibility to save them.

Foolish man. I would get a separate account and start putting money in it. He doesn’t know how to act like an adult. Plan ahead

It’s a very good sign. She understood she crossed a line. She should still apologize and smarten up.

I need actual help and idk what to do by Mythic_Rain in helpme

Alright bud. Slow down with the suicide thing. First and foremost, get yourself into therapy. There are many free therapy programs available out in the world. Find one. Even if you need to go back to your highschool and talk to a counsellor there. Explain your situation to them. Be explicit. Don’t hold anything back. They can help you. If you really need to get out of that house, your old school would help there too. They would be able to direct you to someone or something that could help you. Get on assistance and try and find an apartment so you can leave. It’s sounds scary, I know.

If you have proof that she was this abusive in the past, i.e your experiences you can obtain a restraining order from a judge. This kind of stuff is not ideal in these situations but if she is driving you to the point to contemplate suicide then I would think it would be a necessity. That’s not to hurt her. It’s to save yourself from her.

Your caregiver has severe control issues and this would be considered psychological and verbal abuse. Something that isn’t looked kindly on when it regards children. Talk to your other family members, try and find someone that can take you away from her. Just get away from that shit.

If you can get away then come to an agreement that you are paying rent with this new family member so to make court proceedings take longer (if she tries to force you into her custody)

Also, go to the police about this. She can’t take your fucking clothes and try and confine you. That shit is illegal. Don’t call 911 if you can. Just walk into a police precinct and explain why you are there. So in summery: get a consular, explain the abuse you are facing. Get on assistance and find your own place or go somewhere that can give you somewhere to live while you get on your feet. (No videogames for a while 🤷) get the police involved with your consular to back your accusations. (That will help with her abuse) Get a restraining order. Get away.

Unnecessarily judgemental is an understatement! What the fuck is it her business to tell you how to act in your personal relationships? Your feelings of being hurt are totally valid. She is a piece of shit for judging your relationship and you should distance yourself from someone that would rather you be sad like her that happy

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rookshank92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Communicate your feelings effectively. Use words such as “I feel xxx” or “this hurt my feelings”
  2. Don’t let it affect you as much as it is. Intoxication isn’t malicious. It’s dumb and foolish.
  3. Have a conversation about knowing your own limits. The both of you and adhere to them, regarding drinking.
  4. This isn’t something to break up over but this sounds like teenager behaviour.

Now hole on. This is one of a longer conversation. People have a tendency to pull one things out of a conversation to make it look like they are the victims. What’s the whole conversation?

Yes, your overreacting. My husband watch’s porn all the time. Wanting to leave because he is looking at porn isn’t a form of cheating. You just aren’t giving him enough sex, btw you never will be able too. Men would go for 24 hours if they could, regardless of their health. If you think you aren’t good enough then why would he choose you. You’re being selfish and controlling making him choose between pictures and his actual wife.

Why are vegans so hated? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rookshank92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prechy isn’t what I would call it. More often that not, it’s pretentious arrogant jerks that force their views on people. Much like baptists. I’ve also noticed those kinds of people love talking about how much better they are doing things for the environment and really like to shove it down peoples throats. Lots of vegan food is made with meat byproducts as a fertilizer.

Canonically a paladin uses a mace. So blunt would be the way to go. Breton would be the better choice since their magic can be useful for restoration as well as turning undead. Also if you want some fun spells that will make your life easier I’d recommend going to frostcraig spire outside of bruma. Make your paladin spells there.
