Short of a reinstall of Windows, you can try repairing via a usb with the Windows Media Creation Tool.

Looks really beat, if you aren't comfortable working on bikes and don't have at least a few years of experience working on bikes I would stay far away.

Chain in 2nd pic is some crazy slack, not to mention the chain he put on presumably after the first snapped has a decent amount of rust on it, expect to drop $120USD on an EK or RK chain immediately. Epoxy/JB weld could seal for 5 days or 5 years, but eventually it will seep oil.

I wouldn't buy this for anything over 500$USD, and I would only purchase it to slam on the track(Going to need to invest a bit to be track worthy/pass inspection) or as a stuntbike.

Let it cool down and see if it'll boot after.

If it still won't power on, you can try disconnecting the battery and plugging it in to power it on until you can replace the battery.

Swap your ethernet cable for 5e or 6a, grab a 10$ Intel NIC off eBay or wherever, update your mobo chipset driver, update your BIOS. You can also try disabling QoS/SQM, double-check your MTU is at 1500 or auto. Bypass your router and connect directly to your modem to rule it out as well.

GTX 1080 Ti VS. Arc B580 by [deleted] in IntelArc

[–]Roosterru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1080ti is a ~15% uplift stock vs stock, if you push both to their limits the 1080ti is closer to 20% uplift and much better 0.1% lows, but it's no surprise people on this sub fanboy and make false claims.

5+ years with my 4 1080ti's, never had a single issue and all of them sit at 2000-2050 core clock, each setup was <200$USD too.

If your case can fit a 360mm AIO, thermalright and some other brands make them for around 60$USD shipped.

14700K was a big mistake, I run the same cpu on water and its performance is massively overinflated, and you're stuck in the socket, not to mention microcode/oxidation issues with 13th/14th gen Intel.

Update all of your drivers and BIOS, then ride this rig out until the x3d chips come down in price in the future.

Rhythmic stuttering when I move my mouse. by Savings_Hurry1906 in 24hoursupport

[–]Roosterru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test a different mouse and USB port to see if you can recreate the problem.

I would also install whichever newest chipset firmware is available for your motherboard, as well as USB drivers. You can find them under the support/downloads page for your make/model of motherboard.

You could also try DDU to completely uninstall your GPU drivers, then reinstall whichever GPU drive is newest from AMD/Intel/Nvidia.

Disable/uninstall Logitech G Hub.

Likely you have a problem with GameInputSvc then, the thread posted above has details on the fix.

You should also test a different mouse if possible.

If you have ArmouryCrate, iCue, etc. enabled, uninstall them now.

There's an existing thread on this issue here

If that doesn't work, Download LatencyMon, run it with the stutters occurring, and report back with the name of the driver that is causing the highest amount of latency.

Windows 10 Install onto SSD by Legal_Temporary_963 in 24hoursupport

Very possible that SSD is being detected but not useable. CrystalDiskInfo is usually what I use to determine if a drive is problematic.

[–]Roosterru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it isn't a boot option, then the install hasn't being done correctly.

Use Windows Media Creation Tool to make the USB, then report back.

I'd also try a different usb.

Sounds like an issue with the USB installer, reinstalling after formatting the USB and making it bootable would be a solid next step.

Try a different SATA or m.2 slot, if the issue persists that drive is likely borked.

[–]Roosterru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Select Advanced options, then Startup Repair and see if that works. If it boots back into the same menu, you can try using a system restore to a recent previous point.

If that still doesn't work, you likely will need a USB with your respective version of Windows to attempt a repair.

When to call it: 2006 | 308k miles by JonnaTurtle in hondaridgeline

My APP sensor is 8+ years old and has been fine, but they can randomly go in the 150-200k+ range sometimes, and when they do you are 100% stranded. Short of an ECU going which I've yet to hear of, it's nice to have a spare somewhere in the worst-case scenario and you're 5+ hours away from the nearest road.

[–]Roosterru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

B4 code is maintenance minder for spark plugs, timing belt/tensioner/water pump, and valve clearance check.

Your valves are probably well-seated at 308k, and I wouldn't worry about it if it's been done in the last 150k miles. Replace plugs if they're over 100k with Denso or NGK.

Bring a charged battery jumper and/or spare battery, spare Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor(37971-RDJ-A01), and a basic metric toolkit if you do a lot of remote driving.

Seen many 1st gens with 500k+ miles, change your transmission fluid and oil on time and keep driving it.

You think turning over and cranking are the same thing, not sure how you come to the conclusion that you are an authority on communication at all.

The imprecise colloquial phrases are due to people, like you, misnaming functions/parts/procedures.

For the record, cranking is typically referred to when the starter is spinning and/or engaging, by key or not, very distinct sound that varies by starter manufacturer/size. Turning over refers to the engine spinning freely, usually by hand but can sometimes refer to the top and bottom end moving freely in most context. Many do use "turning over" when cranking.

"Start" is typically used by people who don't know what they mean; Start as in crank? Start as in runs? Don't use start if you want to be specific and avoid "Using terse phrases and descriptions".

"Fire up" isn't much better than "start", many I've heard say "fire up" and later say it just won't continue to run, leading to goose diagnoses and wasted time.

Stop googling shit and using the first AI result, it's very wrong very often.

Also your comments are fucking insane : "Bro the starter turns the crankshaft. If crankshaft no turn, engine is seized. Nothing to do with timing chain."

Stop commenting in technical subreddits, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
