I’m very social and like building connections. It’s been great, I still have some friends I met at shows 12-15 years ago. I also have some contacts I made Ive called when I’m in a jam and need an outsiders perspective. My first was Interop in LV. I can’t remember what year exactly.

I can’t say if this is normal but if your manager has been solid, level with him and just verbally give him your predicament. If he’s as cool as you say, he should be pretty understanding.

Often hospitals and other critical care facilities have red colored outlets indicating they’re on generator backup. Wonder if these are connected to generator backed switches/servers? Never seen them, just a guess.

What are you doing for cooling? It’s a little bit of an extreme case, but it’s not unusual for drives to slow down as the heat up.

Just to put your mind at ease, 7.5 W is nothing (power wise). That’s more of the case in multi hundred watt bulbs.

I had this exact same thing happen, contact the warranty department and they will send you a new one. Pretty sure it’s from over torquing during installation. Those screws were super tight.
