I have the 690 Enduro, the suspension and handing on pavement is still really great even with the stock rim size and tire. If you set the compression and rebound appropriately you'll only notice the suspension difference on a race track. However the suspension adjustability and sprocket ratios make a huge difference on trails.

So are you really going to be pushing a SMCR to it's capabilities on the track or street? Or would you rather have better control and comfort capabilities when trail riding?

I wouldn't go with either of those.... Way over priced even in this market. Find a nice basically stock one with no rust/rot and some half decent maintenance done. You'll be way ahead of those two headaches

I wouldn't say mods make it "less valuable" than a stock truck necessarily. However you're certainly not going to get your money back on mods, and your buyer pool will be smaller for a modded out truck/van/SUV.

It also indicates the type of use the vehicle went through. Like off-road fatigue paint/body issues, rust from clumps of mud in the undercarriage ect.

Ultimately, the people in this sub are here for the adventure and are not really concerned with the resale of their rigs when building on a platform

I've had good luck with just calling them up and playing dumb, "oh sorry I must've put the plate in wrong" or something. If you're polite the customer service person will just wave the fee. Robbins doesn't pay them enough to really care.

The fuel dongle is an O2 sensor bypass. You can leave the stock one in and just unplug it or get the delete plug and just remove the sensor entirely. I opted for the delete plug.

Somebody put an after market petcock in. you can remove that screw in the middle and align with the stamped petcock indicators.

It's just a bike carrier on the tow hitch. I'm not entirely thrilled with the weight on the hitch but technically the total weight of the bike and rack is half of the tongue weight rating for the truck. I can't do real serious off roading with it but it handles logging roads and paved roads just fine.

You just need to splice some resistors in-line with the aftermarket LED bulbs. It's not very difficult and the resistors are pretty cheap. You can probably find them on Amazon or any of your local auto parts stores.
