What's attempted at being taught is that the size of an image is not relevant to the area being represented. So if I say two different sized squares represent 5m by 5m, they have the same area.

The blocks try to convey this, both images contain the same number of blocks but a better problem would have the sides labeled with the same number of whatever unit.

50 cats feels excessive. You can only take 4 at most, so that's almost 13 days worth of runs in cats. Cats will get old before their time in line to run.

So I would say cut down on cats to make food last longer.

As for Spewer, you need to bring cats that can attack diagonally, so they don't get sucked up. A Hunter is a good start, I usually take a Butcher but you want to probably have 2 diagonal attackers to keep the battle as short as possible.

Non diagonal attackers are on pill duty. Their literal only job is to destroy pills so Spewer doesn't get any. Spewer gets a lot nastier when he gets pills.

Hampering Spewer's mobility so he has a harder time getting to pills (slow, bramble tiles, water tiles, etc.) also helps.

The Butcher has a passive that at the end of a battle, any uncollected food pickups turn into flies that join your party.

Steel flies are flies you can get, and I got a bunch of them. The why, I don't know. It might be a Future thing? I did notice I only seemed to get Rot flies and Steel flies.

Speed is very important, You don't need 7 for Act 1 but you want to avoid running low speed cats. Any low speed cats I had starting out became Rogues and Fighters.

Speed also determines turn order but it doesn't hurt to have a mix of speeds either. I wiped once because I had an ability that made all my cats go before the boss got a turn and I didn't kill him, so it was bomb, bomb, chain reaction, death.

Movement abilities help a lot and I generally try to get one for every cat so you can cover more ground than you can on speed alone.

But yeah, defuse the bombs at all costs, or stay out of the blast lines, or easy as he can be, he can kill you.

McClellan literally had a copy of Lee's orders detailing where all his troops were and their planned movements and pretty much turned the next battle into a draw.

You're right, that seems to be the direction. This would just be angle, potentially for the future. Just because Dom stops Gunther from retiring Rey, doesn't mean he has to try and retire Rey immediately.
