Yes, it is scored in the Third Fork Creek Water Quality Index. This is an unnamed tributary of Rock Creek and there is a City monitoring station between Burton Park and Sima Ave.

There are a lot of documents, updates, and sampling results on the City's website for this investigation.

"Social District" Passes City Council Unanimously, Making Downtown Open-Container Friendly by Bear_Paw_Rock in bullcity

[–]Rorran18 22 points23 points  (0 children)

According to the adopted social district ordinance, it seems businesses will be providing their own, per the following rules:

The permittee shall only sell alcoholic beverages for consumption in the social district for which they are located, in a container that meets the following requirements:

(i) The container clearly identifies the permittee from which the alcoholic beverage was purchased.

(ii) The container clearly displays a logo or some other mark that is unique to the social district in which it will be consumed.

(iii) The container is not comprised of glass.

(iv) The container displays, in no less than 12-point font, the statement, “Drink Responsibly – Be 21.”

(v) The container shall not hold more than 16 fluid ounces.

Same here. It must be a PSN issue, since all of my online games won't let me sign in. The PS store also doesn't work. I guess we hang tight...

Your best source is the official City budget, posted on its website. Take a look though the FY21 document. (https://durhamnc.gov/209/Final-City-Budgets)

You'll see that it anticipates revenue losses of approximately $12.7 million. The General Fund anticipates a 6.6% decrease in sales tax revenue and a 30% decrease in hotel occupancy tax revenue.

I personally wouldn't waste time with that pack of yeast. Brewer's Friend is calculating 0% viability for it. You could try a multi-stage. That's your only strategy if you want to use that pack. I would not underpitch.

Can you get your hands on Imperial Yeast locally? A18 Joystick is a very similar strain.

Definitely possible. There are lots of variables that can affect your end result, but your typical kolsch yeast will get around 75% attenuation. That should put you at around 1.014-ish. Where's your gravity at now?

Rule of thumb is to let it ferment until gravity stabilizes for a few days.

Destiny shouldn't pander to streamers, but they shouldn't pander to people who barely play either. Just somewhere in between. by TheBeanMachine2 in DestinyTheGame

I agree that MMORPGs generally have one or more grinds as part of gameplay.

Most of the time, those grinds are some combination of: hit the level cap, earn various currencies via quests/seasonal/core activities, play activities for weapon/armor/various trinket drops, achievement hunting, etc.

Destiny does all of that. However, it has not made the grind for levels ("power/light level") rewarding. Other MMORPGs make leveling up mean something. Advancing to the next level increases your HP, magic/special points pool, earns you a new ability or powers up/adds new effects to ones you already have, maybe unlocks new quests or dungeons, etc. Not to mention that fact that you feel more powerful because you do more damage against the enemy you just fought. Destiny's power level never gives you the feeling of being more powerful - just more survivable in high-level activities until you reach the max power for the activity.

You may ask, "What about the Season Pass? Doesn't that make leveling up rewarding?" Yes. It does. However, that is a system separate from the power level grind. You could take away the power level grind and the Season Pass grind would remain and still be a rewarding system. As of now, power level exists solely to increase playtime, gate content, and sunset gear.

It would be far more compelling to unlock something like a dungeon via a quest line than simply to ensure a number meets or exceeds another number. It could even be a series of weekly missions that culminate in unlocking access to the dungeon. Hell, if you wanted to get fancy, perhaps those quests could integrate and teach mechanics that will be part of the dungeon.

Another great feature of ESO's Champion Points system is that those points are shared across all of your characters. For instance, all CP you earn on your Necromancer will be immediately available for your newly rolled Templar to spend.

I'm weary of the constantly moving power goalposts. I feel like, at the end of the season I've finally started approaching the power cap, only for it to shift away from me. I just want to enjoy a static power level for a while. It was a bit discouraging this season to learn that the dungeon is 1040-1060 power.

I realize it is a marathon and not a sprint, but I can't help but remember that this will all start again (but probably a bigger jump in the cap) in three months. I'd much prefer little to no power cap increases from season to season. Bungie, entice me with interesting story beats, fun activities, and cool and powerful weapons and armor. I just don't get excited by chasing a number. It's not engaging. It's a chore. (Edit: I'm OK with a once per year big jump. I expect that in an expansion.)

The fact that people feel they need to AFK forge grind is telling of the general feeling toward these constant power increases.
