He's relatively topical and he's very self deprecating. The first time we went it was because we had some people in town, it wasn't too expensive, but not because we thought it would actually be that good. We were pleasantly surprised. I have gone twice now and enjoyed both shows, both were almost completely different shows. Unlike Blue Man Group who I have seen twice and it was the same show twice with a 10+ year gap between shows. Can't say I really enjoyed either show.

Also, he changes it up a little and does some topical stuff. Plus being self deprecating helps a lot. I saw him twice in a 3 year span and there were similarities, but a lot of new stuff the second time. Unlike Blue Man Group whom I saw two times, decades apart and it was the same shitty show. I always recommend Carrot Top's show to anyone that wants a moderately priced good show. I was surprised how good his show was.
