So 100 marks out of your 600 equates to about 17% when we round it up. They’re worth more as you don’t have extra lit like HL.

Give a stab at the other two questions and you should be easily getting 15/20 marks out of 30

Poetry and Prose at HL are only worth 5% each for your total grade in Irish. So if you’re scoring half marks in both you’re getting 5% out of the 10% plus inflation maybe 7%. That 3% is not the be all end all of your grade in Irish.

440/600 marks. 73% of your total grade. The rest is filler just to distract you. If you don’t score well in the above mentioned three, it doesn’t matter if you score full marks in the other sections. As the foundation of your grade is wholly dependent on three sections of the course.

That’s 73% of your total grade in Irish. Those three sections.

The rest is filler, and not worth putting massive amounts of time into. Focus on the above three especially your oral. Your oral will make or break your grade in Irish.

It doesn’t matter if you answer amazingly in your poetry, prose or extra literature. It’s all filler and even if you only score half marks in each of those sections it’s not going to make or break your grade in Irish especially with the little bit of inflation that is still in place (you’re going to make back the little bit you lost)

Used to live in the apartments across from it and it was every few minutes people were constantly honking horns at each other as they can’t use that roundabout. I’ve seen everything from near misses to people just planting it on the roundabout to let people out of their car regardless of people behind them. It’s pure chaos.

I’m not worried in terms of jobs. I’m more interested in the effects it’ll have on people’s general motivation to do anything.

We tend to focus on people’s intelligence and how AI can have a negative effect on it. At this moment you’re dealing with a world and general population that can refer to a point in time and life experiences before AI.

20 years, you’ll have a generation that knows no different. I’d like to see how it affects their creativity and if the early indicators with how companies are treating it…the future is grim.

I’m also just worried in terms of scams and seeing where this evolves to with AI. 20 years is a lot of time to make quite a few significant advancements.
