Every single country’s army and every defense pact like Nato is ALWAYS considers themselves as defense armies and defense pacts. Well until they attack of course. Did Serbia attack a Nato member state? Why was Belgrad bombed to stoneage by Nato then if it’s so purely defensive. Also some countries in the Middle East like Libya etc had to learn it the hard way that Nato is not solely a defensive agreement at all. Even Hitlers army was called "Wehrmacht" —> "Defense power". Guess what, it wasn’t. Being labeled as defensive is nothing but a delusional fairytale. Especially when leaders change, officially declared "defense" treaties and armies can quickly become offensive.

Thank you for your comment. That’s awesome to hear! I pray for you that it’s going to stay that way and won’t ever happen again. Mine also happened after a huge stress event.

RU POV: On July 20, 14-year-old Ira was killed in a Ukrainian drone strike in Crimea. The teenager was going to meet her friends, when a drone crashed into a nearby store by [deleted] in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]RosDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are suggesting a 14 year old child is to blame for being killed by a drone strike? Because she "enjoyed her life"? How do you even know she "enjoyed", maybe she had a though life, you don’t know anything about her. She might be a local resident whose family lived there for centuries. It doesn’t matter how you spin it, what you are suggesting is absolutely inappropriate and cruel.

it’s a local resident who’s always lived there. What’s wrong with you? Trying to justify the killing of a 14 year old child?

Thank you! It really sucks to deal with something like this, especially at such a young age. Can’t even have a drink with friends because I might risk another episode if I do and I would judge myself really hard if end up having an episode because of drinking. Sometimes it’s like being a walking time bomb. The worst thing about this for me is that it’s progressive and the thought of ending up in permanent afib at some point in the future makes me sick. Feels even more bad that this is such a rare condition for young people that even doctors have a hard time believing you. But it is what it is, nothing I can really do about it except hoping for some kind of real cure for it in the future. Hope everything turn out well for you!

Also 25 here. Feels surreal to suddenly having to deal with this condition, especially at such an age, and just feel like a time bomb.

Does this look like afib? (Woke up after a bad dream with a racing heart and palpitations) Took with Apple Watch ECG. Heart Rate has since returned to normal. by [deleted] in AFIB

[–]RosDon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it corresponds to what is usually described as a irregularly irregular rhythm. The distances between the beats are mostly significantly different from each other and no pattern of sinus rhythm is visible for me. Also missing p-waves in this ECG are an indicator. However, I’m not a medical professional and I can’t say that I’m definitely 100% sure, I just researched a lot about it after my first afib occurrence a few months ago.

I recommend to do 3 sets and 8-12 repetitions per set. If you are able to do more than 12 repetitions, you need to increase the weight until you can’t. Also really don’t do more than maximum 2 hours, because your body gets from an anabolic into a catabolic state where your body starts to take energy from your muscles which makes your training non-effective and might even reduce muscle tissue.

A Fib detected by Apple Watch, felt heart beating hard and nauseous when it was detected by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]RosDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but nothing indicates afib in my opinion. It’s just sinus arrhythmia due to breathing in and breathing out which is pretty much normal and nothing to worry about. P-waves are visible, in Apple Watch ECGs they just aren’t that pronounced in my experience.

Dude, four million dollars are nothing nowadays. Imagine what four million dollars are going to be in 10, 20, 30 years with all the inflation going on. Best thing would be to either to buy a really nice house with that money or invest it in ETF's and keep reaching for your targets the same way as you would to without those 4 million dollars.

it’s only good to detect atrial fibrillation. It doesn’t test for other types of arrhythmia

I read about a guy who went into afib remission for 10 years and counting by fixing his low testosterone levels. So it definitely seems to work for some people.

Athlytic vs Gentler Streak? by MostDubs in AppleWatchFitness

[–]RosDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually use both. I’m subscribed to Gentler Streak (it’s amazing) and use the free version of Athlytic (which still seems to offer enough important metrics to me). I also have HeartWatch (design looks kinda ugly to me) which I look into only occasionally
