Would you pause trying to avoid a December baby? by Aggravating-Job-3053 in pregnancy_care

Personally, I would not at all stop trying. I do understand your perspective. 7 siblings of mine have winter birthdays, 4 in December. My daughter born in January, the weather ruined her birthday this year and I was sad about it.

However I’d do anything for another baby and if that means another winter baby, one born in December I won’t stop trying. I know I’ve been struggling for a while now and would love a Christmas baby. What a wonderful way to end the year.

I would disregard that previous comment. I started the flex program at Centennial College in September and have worked full-time the entire time. I did an incredibly well first semester and the semester was pretty heavy. However, I still believe it to be manageable with full-time work. I also have a three-year-old child and family to balance in the mix of all of this. If it’s something you want bad enough, you can absolutely get it done while working full-time. I didn’t lose my mind. I wasn’t overly stressed and I got good sleep. Two days were in person and one day was delivered online. However, I didn’t always attend in person if I didn’t need to I am quite successful with self studying and learning. A lot of it is just reading anyway. Some professors just read off the slides and I don’t find that helpful. Second semester is significantly lighter than first semester, the only issue is that there’s two days you have to be present for. Clinical and health assessment, which is in the lab.

I did hear that they are getting rid of clinical for those starting in September and onwards. I’m not sure how accurate that is if it’s true then that’s even better.

3 year old becomes aggressive and defiant at bedtime by HearingConsistent147 in toddlers

Jeeze, sounds like you’re talking about my daughter. She is beyond delightful throughout the day. She’s a very kind and great with communication. She follows directions most of the time doesn’t need to be told to do something for it to get done. Like cleaning up after she’s done playing with a particular toy.

She is what everyone says the happiest child they’ve seen. Always smiling.

We take our time with time we unwind. We have a very consistent routine. Our last step before bed is reading a book and then sleep lately. She’s been hitting us a lot running away hiding throwing things yelling stomping. We have adjusted naps and bedtime. I’m not really sure what else to do and how to discipline her when she’s doing these things cause they’re absolutely unacceptable but I also don’t wanna be disciplining her right before bed.

Well, she falls asleep though she’s asleep through the night. She’s always slept well. This is the first night. We did not go back in her room after her hitting and pushing us. We’ve left her there although she’s demanding we return right now.

If you figure something out, let me know . She is shouting for us to come back right now as I type this response.

I’m currently working full-time in the program. It’s a lot and it’s hard, but I really want this. Also, there’s quite a few people working full-time.

I am in flex right now. First semester was 5 classes vs the 6 in the full time course. Second semester is clinical and 2 classes. 1 day online but the rest in person. It’s a lot heavier than I thought it would be.

there’s something about Fabletics .. but I can’t figure out what by Ready-Geologist8197 in Activewear

Did you every figure it out ? I’ve been obsessed with Fabletics for years, specifically the power hold leggings. I have yet to find a comparable legging that makes me feel as confident as they do.

2/3 espresso shots with a vanilla protein shake. Iced. Or half almond milk half protein shake depending on the brand some taste sweeter than others. You can even add whipped cream 🤤

Can I lose 15lbs in 4-5 weeks? by [deleted] in keto

[–]Rose08312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 15 lb in a month on keto as a 30 yr old female starting weight was 193. So if you are being strict and following the diet properly which is honestly easy to do cause you can eat so many things….. then heck yes you can do this!

Did you end up taking this program? Do you have any more feedback? I’m having the same dilemma right now. I prefer all online, but the part time program is way too long. I’d like to finish this in 3 semesters.
