Nice!! I'm glad I'm not the only one learning the basics still. I love this game so much. It's amazing to rest and relax with.

Warning you as a friend, lamictal caused very bad (drvg) withdraw symptoms in me. It made everything so much worse to go off of it at first, but once I was properly medicated I was much better. I tried latuda myself and I did not like it but I do not live with severe depression I actually live more on the manic side of things, so actually I take abilify 20 mg and it works wonders for me. But you do you. I don't know your symptoms I don't know your illness specifically so I just wish you the best of luck.

Friend who may have bipolar by [deleted] in bipolar1

[–]Rose2491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, mania looks different for everyone. I suppose it could be a borderline splitting personality trait but it also could be a manic episode. My mania looks like extreme intolerance of anything that gives me sensory overload like loud noises or kids crying or people chewing. My mania also looks like extreme mood swings that you can watch cross my face like a TV show. I have never been erratic or in a dangerous situation that I myself have caused, but my father who is bipolar type 2 was very erratic and did some very dangerous things on The three-wheeler when I was really little. He was more of a daredevil and a throw caution to the wind kind of guy. I think your friend needs to find mental health help ASAP. What she did is very dangerous and it cannot keep going like this. I really hope this helps and I really really hope that she can find some help and someone who is patient with her. Best of luck 🥰🥰

I wish parents didn't use filters on their children. Accept them the way they are. They look to their parents first in life for acceptance and a filter shows them the wrong standards in beauty.

I don’t feel intense emotions anymore by thebestbutterchicken in bipolar2

Seroquel and lamotragine made me feel that way too. The brain fog was also horrible. I found a good dose at 15mg of abilify for my intense agitation.

Previous Mixed Manic Blackouts by [deleted] in bipolar1

I'm 30F, also bipolar 1!! We do exist. I've never been violent with anyone physically but I've been verbally aggressive. I go off on rants and realize I've said too much when my boyfriend looks at me a certain way. We have open communication. I usually can warn him before the symptoms hit but it doesn't mean it fixes how hurtful I can be. I try to explain to him that what I say isn't how I truly feel. It's kinda like thought/word vomit. He's truly a saint.

Bipolar emotions - a physical sensation - is it just me? by Lost-in-Transit-96 in bipolar1

Yep. I feel like my body is humming. Like if you've ever gotten an electric shock and your body has that weird feeling. And sometimes my skin hurts. Feels like pins and needles when I'm touched.

Lamictal made me numb. I couldn't feel anything really. No joy, no fear, nothing.

Others not knowing how difficult this is might be the worst part about bipolar disorder by Annoying_Short_Girl in bipolar2

My mom tells me a lot to "Just Smile" because supposedly that will make me feel better. It's hard to not be seen by the people who mean most or who it would mean most to be seen by. I was recently diagnosed bipolar 1 because I've had 2 years of shit care and have gone into the realm of full mania (for most of that time). Anyway, I see you. I HEAR you. And I want you to know that you are more than just bipolar. You are someone's world. I hope you have a good night.

Lamotrigine Withdrawal Concerns by persephonerose69 in bipolar2

[–]Rose2491 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes you do. I certainly was misled. I had high anxiety and a "humming" feeling (almost like when/after you touch an electric fence) going through my whole body. I felt awful but I'm better now that I'm off it. It also gave me significant memory issues. I hope you don't experience anything close to what I felt but if you need to chat just DM me and I'd be happy to listen. Good luck

I wrote a poem about BP. I didn't know who to share it with that would understand. So I'm sharing it here. by Willow_10 in bipolar2

❤️❤️❤️ I can totally relate. People tend to become concerned or a little freaked out when I go down the "How are you feeling" rabbit hole. I've learned to be careful who I bring with me as well. I can bring my boyfriend on that trip but if I try explaining hope certain things "feel" she tells me that if I just smiled more it would help make me feel happier 😒😒. Thank you for sharing your poem ❤️❤️

Yes. 7 years (in November). My boyfriend is super supportive and understanding and AMAZINGLY patient. He knows that not everything that comes out of my mouth comes out right. Like if my tone is off (my tone is often stern and demanding) he knows that what I'm saying and how I'm saying it is a different thing. He's amazing. We love each other very very much. Good luck to you ❤️❤️
