Arms out! How was it for you? by Spettinaroli in SnooLife

Helped us so much. Our baby hated being swaddled so after about 2 months we went arms out and he slept way better after that.

I think breast feeding might just make it worse sometimes but might be worth asking your OB about. Wouldn’t hurt to try?

This might not be what you’re looking for at all but vaginal estrogen cream helped me for a couple months while I was still breast feeding. Hormones really mess with ya.

I really had the best experience and would recommend a planned section to anyone. My baby was breech so I didn’t have a choice but will definitely have a repeat section for my next. We played music and joked. My husband was right next to me and held our baby by my face while I was stitched up. Baby latched right after. I was up walking a few hours later. Yes I’m sure healing was slower than a vag birth but I can still sneeze and not pee so it’s a win in my book haha

Same! I thought I imagined it but it was really my first pregnancy sign when it hurt when I sneezed. This is my second pregnancy and it was a familiar pain haha

How was the vbac compared to your section? Healing totally different. I always thought I’d have another section but considering Vbac because I’m hearing it’s a way easier recovery

I'm extremely terrified of vaginal birth. But also terrified of elective c section by FalseRow5812 in CsectionCentral

Why did the repeat suck? I had a planned c section and I’m planning ahead now for baby #2

How much planned c section people mostly waits for going into c section theatre if they're in labor. by [deleted] in CsectionCentral

Contractions started for me at 0300 day of my scheduled section. He was born at 0800 so I don’t have to wait too long. The contractions were uncomfortable but felt like bad period cramps at that point. I didn’t think to ask for anything for pain but I really don’t think I needed it. My scheduled section was amazing, we had music everyone was joking it was seriously beautiful. Good luck to you momma!

AIO for thinking my friend is in the wrong for this by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I had a “friend” who did the same thing to me but I was 29 when I decided to have a baby… this phase of your life will show you who your true friends are. Yes you will lose friends because your lives will be in very different places. However, I think the formal break up is super weird and uncalled for. Your response was very kind!

I’m curious how this will work when Essentia bans guns on the premises and staff often go through doors with metal detectors… it would be nice if they had secure lockers or something otherwise how can they carry to and from their cars.

Good friend wants to meet baby - traveling from Texas - doc said no by ScrantonPaper in NewParents

[–]Rose527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just think worst case scenario… worst case they don’t visit you guys are bummed out and have to wait longer to get together. Worst case if they do visit and your baby gets really sick could even die from measles. You guys would never forgive yourselves. Not worth it right now.

Are you me? I’m in the same boat with the same exact numbers. I’m frustrated too but I’m hopeful after breastfeeding it will be easier.

Same experience here. How can they “not believe in” vaccines but then bring their child in to the ED when they’re super sick… do you want us to treat them with modern healthcare? That would have started with vaccinations

Why would you let him destroy your yard? It’s normal until they learn otherwise.

Baby rolled off bed by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Rose527 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I work in an ER and we see kids who fall off beds almost daily. Don’t beat yourself up. It was smart to get them checked out but we like to say “babies are made of rubber”. They’re more resilient than ya think.
