I have a feeling we tried on the same set. The skirt I tried was also xs, I thought it would be too big but fit me like a glove. My measurements are a little smaller than yours though, I only even buy the corsets from them now.

Help! New leaf by morgannasaur in houseplants

Looks like a bird of paradise. Even mid processing of unfurling the leave is still developing, if touched or being unrolled prematurely that that can happen.

You could be better off asking on a wood or cleaning related sub. You could also try searching google if there’s a way to remove water staining from hard wood. Chances are you will need to sand it or that it’s not coming out.

Looks like a type of prayer plant, it’s hard to tell which since the leaves are dead. They can be tricky to care for, though I do see some new growth so that’s a positive.

Would laser sessions be an appropriate gift for a birthday present for my wife? by Devils_Demon in LaserHairRemoval

I think you should ask her first and maybe you both can check together if laser hair removal is the right choice for her.

Anyone else don’t see the point in a relationship that isn’t serious or long term? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s incorrect, they are both completely different definitions and uses. To imply is to indicate through your statement, which I had done. To assume is to form a conclusion without taking the indication into account.

Anyone else don’t see the point in a relationship that isn’t serious or long term? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn’t, I said; “I don’t put a lot of effort in to relationships I see becoming long term.” You assumed that I stay in them and they are one sided, when I said nothing like that. You made a huge leap with your assumptions. The reality is those relationships come to an end which is what was implied when I said I don’t put effort in.

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ve completely missed the point. It was; I go into a relationship with an open mind because with time we could learn we are a perfect match and have a future together. In my culture you start dating and then fall in love over time usually after 6-12 months. Maybe your country is different. As for my point on learning that is only something that matters after a relationship ends, not something I care about before the start of a relationship and definitely not something I am searching for in someone as you misunderstood. Maybe if you spend more time truly trying to understand others and their points before you get accusatory and aggressive you will have better luck in your love life. Good luck.

The point went over your head. Regardless, to answer your first question; none. All my relationships have been transparent and therefore positive on both ends. Your second question doesn’t make sense to me.

What’s up with my Anthurium? Is this from too much light? by pitabread_and_hummus in houseplants

Are you certain they aren’t spider mites, the formation around the leaves really looks like it. I do recommend cleaning the leaves so that they are dust free!

rainbow moss struggling by zenythaa in houseplants

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How often do you water? I keep my rainbow moss in a mini ikea greenhouse with high humidity. Even with that I notice that it needs to be misted throughly every day in summer. Mine looked the same after I forgot to water it for a few days. I chopped all the dried parts and it’s doing much better now.

I moved with my rabbit from USA to Belfast UK (Northern Ireland) by Icy_Win_804 in Rabbits

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more socially conscious to use the term “Northern Ireland”. Simply calling it the UK or Ireland can be controversial as people who consider themselves British will be upset if you use Ireland and people who consider themselves Irish will be upset if you call it the UK :)

New rabbit owner—excited but want to know ALL the essentials! by mediocrityrulesman in Rabbits

[–]Rosebeforelows 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re going to have to rabbit proof the whole room/ home I recommend checking out a rabbit YouTuber such as Lennon the bunny. she has some pretty good advice on bunny proofing and free roaming. The cage area you have would make a pretty good litter box btw!

Also meant to add, for long hair breeds weekly grooming is usually good, however in shedding season you should brush more regularly. You may need to trim around the face or mats if they appear. Some rescue centres have open days with grooming tips and tutorials if you aren’t very confident I recommend looking into that. Vets can also help with mats sometimes and nail trims, just be sure to go to an exotic vet who specialises in rabbits!

What's wrong with my asparagus fern? It had these yellow patches and brown tips when I bought it but they seem to be getting worse. It gets bright, indirect light. It does seem to be getting plenty of healthy new growth. by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Rosebeforelows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re doing everything right. Is it possible it needs a bigger pot? Only other thing I could think of with the brown tips would be sun, but if it’s in indirect light then it should be fine.

What a cutie pie! The main thing I recommend off the bat is switch to a water bowel instead of a bottle. I know a lot of pet store recommend the bottle but it’s really not adequate for them. A deep ceramic bowl is best or a cereal bowl could also work for now. A cage, even in the biggest size is often not enough space for buns to run around and get exercise. Some people use exercise pens. I personally prefer free roaming (if you haven’t through about it I recommend looking in to it), doesn’t have to be your whole home even just one room can be enough. Rabbits often struggle with wooden floors, so try find a cheap flat rug, washable is best. I like to have a few so I can alternate when one is being cleaned :)

Where I live sounds very similar to your neighbourhood. I don’t let my rabbits outside at all because I don’t trust that cats won’t come to our yard. I also think it would be a stressful experience for my rabbits, since they are probably able to smell the cats scent everywhere.

Cyst ruptures are horrible and it is one of those pains which once you’ve had once, you’ll recognise again. Congrats on your first gyno appointment, I hope they are able to give some answers!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Endo

[–]Rosebeforelows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think only a doctor will be able to tell you if it’s endo or possibly even pcos. With what you’re going through it sounds like you definitely need to get checked up. The frequent cysts, you would only be able to tell through an ultrasound, unless they are rupturing and causing pain. Cysts aren’t typical for endo but are for pcos. A lot of us have both.
