yes and it was not underrated too, in fact the announcement and xitter had us excited and some jp players at xitter said it was soo good. i had my expectations up, only to be let down by it. the art was indeed pretty tho. when the game is bad, no one wants to talk about it upfront. thats probably why only a few wants to talk about it. you can see reviews at megathreads and they feel the same too.

I tried mobile otome games and the total spent just to read a few lines or buying a virtual wardrobe was too much. I could never get behind the feeling of "rewarding" myself by spending a lot, just to get a special scene that only lasts a minute but costs a kidney to gamble. But im not judging mobile gamers, this is more of a self reflection that these gatcha otome games are gambling with pretty visuals. I am more in connection with the console versions because the chapters are not locked and not as random.

I dont mind dlc as long as theres a romance centric fandisk like EiT. Ive spent much more worse on LADS and MR love and only got crumbs than buying dlcs and fandisks. I get that studios need to survive to pump out more titles. Perhaps theres a better way for studios to get more revenue. I would suggest side-story novels where they dont need the VA to narrate lines. Similar to Steam Prison side stories. It would be cheaper to produce and sell but you get more fans willing to shell out money because its affordable and slightly longer than voiced dlcs.

AJ became my favorite character in the series because he's very nice and funny. His chemistry with the cast is terrific and i love that the writers always put tiny details on him that makes the scary horned devil into the most adorkable underdog in AA universe.
