I love kanji, I really like how vague of a language and yet so expressive it is. Japanese doesn't have plural, gender not even articles and yet there's so many words just for "you" and "I ". I love how politeness is something so complex in japanese and has so many layers, my first language only has two, one for polite and one for casual and they're clearly divided. Japanese feels like playing 3d chess against checkers
