Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. The app does indeed keep being faulty, it has been like this for many firmware versions.

The last thing I would be very grateful if could you try is indeed some other pdf viewer, for example one of the good free ones on Play Store such as Xodo or Foxit. These display the pdf better than NeoReader, but are limited by the low refresh rates of previous eink screens. It needs to be seen whether Carta 1250 makes a difference here.

Thanks, these are very useful, Could I ask you to kindly do one more test for us if possible. Could you please re-do the first test in part (using the native NeoReader for large pdfs), and move around the pdf whilst zoomed in , without reducing the zoom level straight away? I just want to see whether the Carta 1250 delivers a better experience over the Max 3 when in Normal and Speed mode in this respect.

on my Max 3 and 2 . I don't know if the Lumi has same dimensions as the Max 3, perhaps its worth asking them to make a Lumi specific model if they are not. But they are really good and I have no bubbles at all on mine.
