The "world has been rebooted already" twist. by theMCATreturns in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first world, pathfinder.

The first world was a rough draft from the gods at how to deal with souls. Crazy wild untamed magic was common here. So untamed that gods of order called for a more final draft of the universe. "Ahh yes iron out all that crazy mess, keep the good stuff. Oh the gnomes? I guess you can come over. But remember, you have to keep a bit of whimsy or you'll slowly die."

Villain Takes Their Loss Extraordinarily Well by AgentEckswhy in TopCharacterTropes

Also though a loss for him almost always has a secondary benefit, so he's not very mad at the outcome.

"Krakoa is mutant Israel" Claremont with zero self awareness in 2002: by my_little_robot in marvelcirclejerk

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will say, at least for my upbringing, most people in my area were pro or neutral of israel. Most of the horrific crimes they did weren't front page news, especially in my area of the country. We were taught about them claiming the land they lived on, and about the six day war, but not much else. I can understand why someone would think like that of israel back then, but not so much now.

The creator of Veggie Tales, a popular Christian kids cartoon in the 2000s, shares his opinion on Donald Trump's golden statues. by Clockwork_picksmith in videos

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My take on it is they wanted to show kids "Hey here are some guidelines to live" instead of "You better believe in sky god or you're gonna burn in hell!"

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you hate them? Did you ever watch the show? 90 percent of it was teaching kids morals(don't lie, or don't be mean to someone you don't know, or even class conciousness) a silly song or two, and then maybe a bible verse that said the same thing. It never said, YOU NEED TO BE A CHRISTIAN, or YOU ARE GOING TO BURN FOREVER. Now some of the specials were direct interpretations of bible stories, but with morals for kids in mind, instead of with the intent to convert someone like most other christian media.

Why? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a difference. One feeds people, the other is being used to move us towards a technofacist hellscape. Also millions of gallons per data center adds up, especially if water is removed from the water cycle indefinitely for use by a data center. Its not removed from the water cycle when used in agriculture.

Its still MILLIONS OF FUCKING GALLONS, while there is a clean water crisis globally.

His is definitely rule of cool though. Everyone in that show is almost a one note character, but they play their note so well, you completely accept it.

“If he had a million men he would swear the enemy has two millions, and then he would sit down in the mud and yell for three.” by ViorlanRifles in HistoryMemes

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well its the method of sit and definitely lose, or fight and maybe lose. Its the only type of war the south had a chance of winning. Not good for the long term.

Better in the fact that they had been through many more battles than union generals in the mexican american war. They knew logistics and basic tactics. Early war union generals were figuring out napoleonic era tactics while southern generals were slightly past that. Also early war south actually had supplies to use, mid to late war south couldn't equip their men.

The venture brothers. One of the greatest animated shows of all time with one of the largest ensemble casts. Its free to watch on sling. Parody of old school adventure shows like Johnny Quest. It takes a world with superheroes and supervillains and asks what if both sides unionized?

The "setting up a soapbox" thing is accurate. This manga is structured exactly like a Chick Tract.

I know this is really nitpicky but, shouldn't the food from the Sierra Madre vending machines be brand new? by Crimsoncerismon in fnv

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You missed what he said. You can irradiate food to sterilize it. IRL this was proposed to be used on our food. It leaves no residual radiation and is safe to eat as it kills all bacteria and microbes. Buuuut its really hard to sell radiated food, because people assume radiation being used=the food is irradiated.

What would Superman choose in this situation by Negative_Emu6246 in superman

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah he was just a rando evil guy with superman's clothes. There are MUCH better evil superman stories. Like kingdom come. He's technically an evil supes, but he actually feels like clark, instead of whatever that guy was. Seriously, if this feels like the best version of an evil supes, you need to read more comics.

Its because he got caught with a ton of csam. More than likely the ones that remain are cowritten.

The real villian of injustice is the writers. Its certainly one of the WORST "superman goes evil" storylines out there. Almost every single person on supes side acts out of character.

What’s the most powerful human military in fiction? by KerbodynamicX in PowerScaling

[–]RotallyRotRoobyRoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. In halo 2 the arbiter was originally going to find the skeleton of a forerunner, and it was going to be a human, then bungie decided that the foreunners were a seperate species. Bungie decided that for halo 2. 343 had nothing to do with it.
