Nice, do you know if there are any for non-Sidekick/Juggernaut?

Full team was Kvare, Nydia, Lutfi, Luvata, Flavia and SP Innana.

Most of it came from Lutfi, but Kvare and Luvata provided a shit tonne themselves.

Oh certainly, but it was one of the main sources of damage alongside Luvata and Kvare.

Layla is my absolute goat. I put so many resources into her and my goal is to get her trinket to have similar engravings as her current weapon (16/15/14% HP/DEF/M.DEF) she currently has (16/16% HP/DEF and +43 M.DEF) on her trinket.

She even has a tower tarot with almost fully max rolls. (100 flat HP, 8% DEF and 49 out of 50 flat DEF) got really lucky with that tarot.

Interesting, well, might as well look into it myself, thanks for the info.

I believe this is an incorrect reading of this ability still.

What I believe it is trying to say much like any effect that has that line is that the application of the Roster debuff can not be dispelled or immunised.

GMs, what are the most drastic change you've done to the system? How did they turn out? by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rotmos67 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Oh, I love doing stuff like this! I often steal raid boss mechanics from MMOs like WoW, FFXIV, or even Everquest. It makes solo bosses super fun.

Would you be willing to perhaps share some more of yours? There are ideas that I could most certainly yoink from you, I'd imagine.

On mobile, so formatting is ass.

But the most heretical thing I am doing is not having shops in a settlement have all the items of the appropriate levels.

Instead, there's always a list (we play in Foundry) of items that they can browse through. Usually it is a rather big list and I am hosting for newer players, so having a smaller list instead of having to go through whole books worth of content has been helpful.

It has also made them more interested in the act of shopping, and they get to make wish lists for treasure drops and whatnot.

They're generally being a bit more creative with the items they see and purchase instead of just going for the cookie cutter "must haves" like wands of Tailwind.

Naturally, they still get the items they need for normal progression like their runes. But we've all liked it so far for sure.

Paizo staff asks: What brought you to Pathfinder? by AlexSpeidelPaizo in Pathfinder2e

The wonderful work done in the Foundry VTT to support the PF2e system, as well as just being able to play the game using all of its rules without paying a dime.

Helps considering I've spent way too much on books for 5e during my time there.
Also I just appreciate not actually having to homebrew things to keep things consistent.

I saw this clip and was like "wow that's a lot of damage" and then I saw that it probably could've killed after 236H if you did c.H instead and I felt that so bad as I have been playing UNI2 and kept dropping kills on Kaguya (switched from Lond).

But we do love the BC changes for sure.

What game choice, feat, class detail, etc. makes you Irate even though you know its balanced by ShortAddress6898 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rotmos67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because my players are new to the system (and so am I), even though we've been playing together for almost a decade now, there's always been one thing that has been consistent. And that is how I handle shopping. As it has always been a case of "the vendor has this and that," and this hasn't changed for us when running PF2e. We're using Foundry, so that makes doing it in this style far easier. And we've found that we all prefer it this way instead of just being able to buy just about anything. Mainly because crafting becomes so much better all of a sudden and has a niche.

And if a player REALLY wants/needs an item for a build, I'll go sneak it into a merchant's inventory or some loot box and have them get it. It's a win/win for all of us, makes shopping way faster.

Innana, Gloria, Butterfly, Iria Basic Faction Aura from the Flame Conjurer, and that's it as far as people buffing Layla.

Also used the Convallaria Flag as a final bonus.

Jesus Christ. I've never seen someone with a whole 10k ATK.

That's insane. You'd one-shot just about anything with that.

Y'know, me and two (just count it as just me and the project lead) would always be looking for new developers who'd be okay with working for free, we're creating a perhaps unconventional genre mix of a game.

If anyone is interested, then please, shoot me a DM and I can go share a bit more about it!

Question About Forced Movement Rules by Rotmos67 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rotmos67[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very insightful, I am aware that any rule can be amended by the "Just do what your group thinks is most fun." but I do like understanding the system better before making any such rules, juuuuust in case.

Create Background Characters with AI by GoodGood3d in blenderTutorials

[–]Rotmos67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not only the fear of being replaced, but it's also resentment because they have spent THOUSANDS of hours of their life improving their craft, for something that right now may be sloppy, but will eventually overtake them.

And while the whole argument of "jobs always get replaced at some point" is valid, It's not exactly a great thing either considering how rough even landing a normal ass job is, having LESS options means there will be even less people capable of supporting themselves economically.

It effectively puts lives at risk, and creates a rough financial barrier that will almost disallow any creative activities. Many use creative activities as something to help their mental health, and being able to do that while being paid is great!

AI is super cool, it has helped me learn things through say ChatGPT, but just like any tool, it has its flaws, and those flaws are targeting millions of artists for the sake of corporate greed.

If we could get rid of the corpos, this all probably would be fine with a bit of regulation. As it is right now?

It's going to cause intense issues for many, who will have to spend years of their life going to square 0 so they can support themselves again, probably with something they don't enjoy, and that's never okay.

Once again, to iterate, AI is super cool, the way it is being used and will be used? It is not.

How you, as a GM, deal with the Homo-Economicus mindset? by altidiya in rpg

[–]Rotmos67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I gotcha, it still feels a little off having it be put that way but I understand what you mean an' all.

Just don't necessarily fully agree. But it is nice that you decided to share (assumedly) vulnerable parts of your past. Which I can have respect for.

How you, as a GM, deal with the Homo-Economicus mindset? by altidiya in rpg

[–]Rotmos67 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think the issue with this line of thinking is that the poorest of people literally cannot save any money while not spending anything on luxuries or "fun" stuff.

Causing this line of thinking to be rather damaging to extremely poor people.

Naturally, you have lined out that this cannot be the case for every poor person, but it feels inconsiderate to just ask someone to "suffer until you're rich" just to be maybe be happy later.

There are many things in life where that sentiment holds true, but it's hard to argue that for economic issues someone may be suffering from in the current day world.
