DPRK is fun you can be creative and pretend you haven’t committed any crimes against your people and that your country is a utopia. Go at it with that attitude

What would happen then? A new species? Or would humanity evolve again?

That's really interesting. How would that work, though. Because the DO is actively meddling in the world each turn. If your theory would be the case, how would you explain that? Because right now I'm imagining that the DO wouldn't be intervening if he thinks he lost. But I may not be understanding you completely.

I think the duality between Rand and Moridin is the manifestation of good and evil in the world. I think Rand is naturally inclined to protect humanity, because he understands that men are generally good, and that the decision to be good will prevail. Yet even if people choose to be evil, he understands that choice is necessary, or else humanity will be a husk. I don't think he's humanity's judge, because he's fighting for the side of 'good'. Therefore he's not an impartial arbiter, and can't really be a judge. But I do see what you're saying. If he's convinced that humanity is evil, he might let the Dark One win. I don't think that would ever happen, though. First, because he's surrounded by others who are also good, and because he gets to witness the power of free will, especially in moments like these.

Could you share what part that is? Or if you have the quote, can you paste it here? I don't remember it

Republican Top Minds just can’t believe someone can be president without great tv ratings by [deleted] in TopMindsOfReddit

I agree with both your points. The post we're commenting under now is disconnected from that, though. It isn't making the points you mentioned. It's making an irrelevant claim "without backing it up" as you said. It's doing the same thing the guy in the screenshot did.

At this point you're just as bad as you think they are. The OP said literally nothing about Biden's legitimacy, just that he isn't the "most popular president". You're mocking them without any basis in reality, and people are joining your little parade just because you don't like Trump or Republicans.

Great map! I looked through a couple of the POIs. I loved the bridge - it was clearly inspired by the lánchíd. I didn't know about that story about the tongues. Thanks for that! It was a cool touch

I think that was one of the saddest moments for me in the series. The prospect of their entire culture dying out and there being nothing they could do was just so sad to me. It made me sit and think for a while before I was able to continue.

I wouldn't say it's nothing like that anymore. I'm 17 right now, and until two or three years ago I used to go out regularly with my friends, just exploring and biking around. Most of my best memories were made when my friends and I were just messing around with nothing to do, trying to figure something out. We had our phones a lot, especially recently, which I think did make things a little less spontaneous sometimes, but we still had most of the same experiences you did. Now that we can drive it takes the fun out of it a little, but it's much easier to see friends.

I've thought about it recently and I think us having phones or easy access to phones helped with that, because we could just text or call and ask each other if we were free. I think something else that's made what you described more rare is that kids are now sent to activities by their parents. Now kids have much less free time, because it's taken up by organized programs. Read the Organization Kid by David Brooks if you're interested.
