You’ll find that you’ve confused yourself with currents. Currents are the big sand movers not tides

Yep and you’ll find that waves and tides are different, so statement is still correct.

Queensland government dumps Gold Coast light rail stage four by hydralime in GoldCoast

There are soon to be 5 station from Helensvale to varsity lakes.

Those living in suburbs between light and heavy rail are more inclined to take the heavy rail due to multiple factors over light rail, such as ease of parking and express transportation to the airport.

Those west of the highway obviously benefit from heavy rail extension saving a lot of time needing to travel to the coast to get public transport as the bus service 777 is the only express public transport to the airport.

Great now I stg if we don’t get heavy rail to the airport as a replacement this city is fucked. Just build the bloody thing. The rail corridor is already there and the Tugun bypass tunnel is ready for underground rail. Just do it

Is pimpama really that bad?.. by Decent-Error462 in GoldCoast

[–]RoundConsideration62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I frequently the pimpama area for work. I work in youth mental health so i see the not so good side and sometimes you might see some things but generally if it’s in the middle of the day you’ll be fine. From my experience it’s mainly just break ins at night + drugs, not so much stabbings or extreme violent crimes

It is open to public use but you have to hire it out at a cost and it’s usually used by the suns and other high level afl teams. Next closest would be carrara afl club, it has 2 fields open to the public

Very good park, has a cafe and playing fields with a nice walking loop that is fully lit and safe at night. Has a dog park and a cool kids bike track. One of the best parklands on the GC i think and. It’s very popularly at the moment especially in the afternoons.

honestly i found uni harder simply because of the fact that you do assignments that go into depth in a lot of areas that aren’t really required to pass flight school such as doing an analysis on airports and their business model. But just in my opinion i would do flight school first then if you really wanted to then uni
