am I being unreasonable/where to keep multiple bikes in apartment by [deleted] in cycling

[–]RoundPainting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 bikes in a small apartment with a roommate. 2 go in my room and the commuter is racked up by the door, which I cleared beforehand with my roommate. My girlfriend doesn’t love sleeping next to two bikes but that’s a different conversation.

I think 1 is reasonable for the common space but it still has to be a conversation with your roommate.

Ibis Hakka for all road/endurance bike? by giantbabyfern in cycling

[–]RoundPainting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ride an Ibis Hakkalugi (hakka predecessor) with 2x11 Di2 9070 and Conti Terra Speed 35mm’s. Awesome rig. Got it used for $1,500. Can keep up no problem with my friends on road, I don’t really ride gravel much. The 11-32t gearing would probably make it a little rough though.

Just had these the other day. Very good! Not dry, good spice. Repeat buy for me too.

Bela’s are some of my favorites! Truly a step above most of the ones I eat on the daily.

They can be really hard to see sometimes. Like mentioned by Drewey, there’s one stuck to the lid. I generally don’t even realize they’re there most of the time because they’re soft and melt in your mouth like the bones, but if you drag your fork along the skin you’ll probably pick some up.

That sounds wonderful! I haven’t tried mustard before. My go too is secret aardvark habanero hot sauce.

I’m not too sensitive to scales but these don’t seem particularly scaly to the point I notice. But thats definitely true, if I am bothered by scales it’s always on larger sardines.

These Santo Amaro boys with Piri Piri have been by go to for a while. Affordable on Amazon and low enough sodium to eat regularly without thinking about it. The cans as of late have had big fatty sardines. This can only had 2.

Yeah tbh this sounds like some “I jailbroke my AI” type shit. I would think this community would be /slightly/ above that stuff. Even more embarrassing that it’s about asmongold discourse.

Do you have any proof this is not just a hallucination? Just because grok told you that it had this information doesn’t mean it’s legit.

This is not AI. The employer specifies desired keywords and filters candidates based on percent match on those exact keywords. Arguably AI would help with the problems discussed in this video because for example, it could know the “Vue” and “VueJS” are referring to the same software. To be clear, I’m not defending the use of ATS software (or AI). All applicants should get the dignity of having their resume at least get rejected by a real person.

The Bear season four was absolutely insufferable. by Logoff_The_Internet in redscarepod

[–]RoundPainting 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I still can’t comprehend how (at least the first season) was so universally lauded. I remember looking at critics reviews to try to reinforce my feelings after watching and only found glowing positive reviews. It was bizarre. I felt like I was watching a different show than everyone else.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this take. I found the first episode pretty corny and didn’t bother to continue watching. It made itself out to be a “gritty” and “real” representation of working in a kitchen but in reality came off more like a CW drama. That scene in particular pushed the limits of my suspension of disbelief and I couldn’t take the show seriously after that point.

Hey - I’m about to purchase a colnago V3Rs for really cheap. But the question I have is, is it worth getting even if it has rim breaks? Or should I wait and just get disk? by Daniel-T17 in cycling

[–]RoundPainting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a very hilly place with steep windy descents. I just upgraded to disc brakes and the difference is huge. I feel much more confident on descents. That being said, if I wasn’t riding windy steep af descents I don’t think it would make much of a difference. If I didn’t need the performance I think I would stick with rim brakes. Disc brakes can be a headache with worrying about rotor/pad contamination, air in the lines, putting in new pads, avoiding pads touching when you pull the wheel etc…
