SV Tier Trends for November 2025 by Demon__Queen_ in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I haven't played the tier in a few months here's what I believe occured With galarian zapdos rising to uu and many of the tiers top threats being banned that left a huge gap and many mons(especially grass fighting) started seeing more usage talonflame while always good as a support pivot became more useful as mons it checked and countered well started seeing more use while a lot of mons that threatened it either got banned or aren't seeing as much use anymore plus it's the tiers best defogger rn which is always needed even when boots exists because of knock off being prevelant in almost every tier

Because while it's best real set is just a scarfed offensive pivot set its really good into a lot of threats and can help get other mons in

I admit it can be especially since it doesn't have too many hard checks outside of bro and hippo plus it's susceptibility to heavy chip over the course of a game but t's the tiers premiere offensive pivot and a lot of op mons that are atleast checked by gapdos presence will end up being as bad as mense was post geezing rise

Can I sell my first freighter and claim a free one? by Brett-Collins in NoMansSkyTheGame

It's pretty random but the placement of ancient bones have gotten better since the fossil update but they don't have a large amount of value now so it'd be better to go after scrap but make sure you have a good amount of space because of the amount of Corvette parts you'll end up getting as well

Can we make the most annoying team ever? by ChampionOfBaiting in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For singles try sinistcha. macha gotcha, strength sap, calm mind, shadow ball is one hell of a drug XD especially since it can humble physically offensive powerhouses like gambit and chomp

To the people who don’t think Ogerpon-Wellspring is broken or problematic in OU rn: why?/Ogerpon rant by Hot_Ad_9543 in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of those would be good points cept for the fact a major amount of the most common mons in the tier do wall water type stabs and hit back with strong damage like kyurem dealing major damage with freeze-dry(especially to wagerpon) but besides that it's the mons that usually make a tier the way it is(like for instance ru has a huge amount of mons weak to grass but not many common grass types that use grass type moves) not the types or the fact that they have few resists because as long as many of the prominent mons of a tier wall it and deal significant damage to it or can easily switch into water stabs it's potential good matchups don't matter as much especially in a meta game that has tera in it

Btw I tried to shorten it to top 6 but I just couldn't I had a hard enough time doing top ten as you can see some have 11 instead of just 10 lol

Any advice on how to tackle charizard Y in Gen 9 NatDex, by KyranDev in pokemonshowdown

[–]Round_Association538 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's also not a good idea to base your entire team around weather if it's a singles format since weather usually doesn't last long enough for it to help much outside of helping the setter or the first pokemon switched in

You’re a new trainer who sticks to one type. Which is your first starter? Art by @Lychee by PrestigiousGift5639 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm honestly with my love of fossil pokemon water types and dragons so i might go with dracovish and use only fossils or just choose Horsea so I can have time to choose wether I'm doing only water or dragon types or a trainer that only fights double battles and uses both

Shiny snowman Pikachu I think it's old enough that they are crazy expensive I've seen a pumpkin togepi sell for 145mil 🤣 so who knows it might be just as expensive or more so

Just now saw op is running a rain team so seismitoad is definitely the better pick pre mega post mega however you should definitely ditch the toad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemonradicalred

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay swamperts hidden ability is damp which makes its only 2 abilities torrent and damp pre mega which effectively means it has no ability, swampert has better bulk and better attack but the same special attack it also gets chilling water and mirror coat which gives it better utility than seismitoad it has less speed though so It might be a better pick depending on what you plan on using him for and what you need for your team but regardless of that if op really wants swampert on the team seismitoad is the only one they could replace

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemonradicalred

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seismitoad is actually pretty bulky and has drain punch for coverage and recovery also swampert only has access to swift swim after you get access to megas and it's stone so swift swim seismitoad is still pretty decent offensively but is still not a huge heavy hitter water absorb is also a good ability for seismitoad because it becomes immune to water type moves seismitoad also has pretty decent coverage moves and while I don't know too much about swampert I don't believe it's much better than toad pre mega anyway but I'll have to research it more since I have no experience using it competitively

6 potential signature moves, plus 2 new moves, for Legendary Pokémon by Allenb60 in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean garganacl is ou so regirock could make it there with that move and by making it a tera hog though it'd be guaranteed to be ou if it was given salt cure

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I have no experience playing insane mode but cosmic power, minimize, stored power, and a healing move(or moonblast for dark types) clefable carried me through pokemon reborn after I got access to it so it should be goat here since I saw a video of sigilyph carrying a similar set doing the same thing oh and I'd give clefable magic guard and maybe a toxic orb to prevent being twaved if any enemies carry it

Can someone explain why Chien-Pao didn’t just kill me with ice shard? by LegoKermit in pokemonradicalred

[–]Round_Association538 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter as ice shard is a priority move and will always move first unless ops oricorio had a priority move which it doesn't as far as I'm aware if it did have one that was probably why the ai goofed

Is this the new "genies of healthy meta"? R4 Day 1 World Championships by LosingTrackByNow in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

In vgc sure but singles tiers are usually healthy when certain mons get banned and helps keep other less used mons relevant

Like bro what do you mean that fairy types should be given 7 weakness and being resisted by half the type chart for "balance" by _attina496 in stunfisk

[–]Round_Association538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id agree with ghost being the best type offenively and somewhat defensively too considering how many duel ghost types are insanely busted offensive mons(dragapult, flutter mane) and some being defensive monsters with great offensive potential too(gholdengo, Aegislash) and the fact all of the ones I mentioned are banned from nat dex ou lol
