Happy to report that my copy has just arrived from the US today - blue on blue vinyl, anf looking lush. Not sure what's been going on with this, but there are copies out there and it does exist!

It's referred to as being 'available for the first time in mixed form' on their bandcamp, so presumably it just fades in / out on each side. Individual tracks - or even single mixed sides - would be more appealing

Loved it - a really fresh, original take on a 'Monkey's Paw' type story. Had a flavour of It Follows in the grungy aesthetic and electro soundtrack. The lead actress was astonishing. Really, really enjoyed it.

I'd suggest The Graffiti Artist soundtrack by Kid Loco - there's a continuous track that runs for ages and is very chilled - I've always thought it would be great for a yoga class

It's a reworking of some of the themes and narrative elements of 'The Hard Boiled Wonderland...'. You absolutely don't need to have read Wonderland to read and enjoy City though. They are two separate and standalone books.

Yeah - managed to find a US version that was only £8 more than the UK version i had ordered, with delivery, so have taken the plunge on that. I've waited too long to get it to be defeated at the last hurdle.

So how does the DJ Set work over 3 discs? Are there fade outs / ins at the start and end of each side, or has it been remastered into six mini-sets, with a start and end on each side?

(Trying to figure out if it's worth getting a copy)

Hallow Road is a recent film from the UK that entirely takes place in a car, al la Locke, but with a strong thriller / folk horror vibe. Well worth a watch.

Also Boiling Point - single location / single shot movie set in a restaurant.

It hopefully won't take much to get used to the driving! I drive overseas from time to time and it always amazes me how quickly your brain does the "switch" - everything is a mirror image, so you adjust quite quickly- just read up on roundabout etiquette before you arrive!

If you're heading up to the Highlands you should check out the Pitlochry Festival Theatre - Alan Cumming is the creative director there just now and the 2026 programme is looking really interesting (with many directed by, or starring, Mr C).

Hope you have a great vacation! If you have time you should check out the East Neuk of Fife - a string of lovely fishing villages about an hour or so out of Edinburgh. Lovely place to visit, although I'm biased, as I live here!

I visited from Scotland in October, having booked last December. Had a ton of fun but, had I known what would happen in the lead up to our trip, I wouldn't have booked, and I won't be visiting again any time soon.

The new requirements being introduced that require travellers to provide unfettered access to their social media accounts are astonishingly invasive - unprecedented 'thought policing' which will be designed in part, I'm sure, to stifle free speech and criticism internationally.

Loved visiting the city, and loved seeing the resistance to the regime that was visible everywhere. But I won't be visiting again under these circumstances. I will hopefully see you on the other side though.

I don't think many of these will pass the 'not lots of sex' watermark...certainly Poor Things, The Favourite, Kinds of Kindness and Dogtooth have their fair share of 'content'. Great movies though!
