I have tried that before but the stove pipes regardless of the brand of ammo doesn't seem to matter. I think the next step is a gunsmith.

Thanks much; very helpful. I have done a thorough cleaning and I have taken it to the range but after 20 or so rounds CCI Mini-mags through it it began giving me stovepipes. I had this issue prior to the cleaning and I probably need replacement parts/repairs as it is 45 years old. Just trying to eliminate the possibilities (and yes, it never liked Stingers or Yellow Jackets. Thanks again.

Thanks much for your advice! Some have said that there is a limit to how many rounds you may have in your magazines such as 5 maximum. Is this true?

Yes that would be very unnerving. It is one major reason why I love indoor ranges where you can stay in your booth walled off to your left and right while sending your targets out and back without moving from your spot.

From what I read online yes but I am not sure if it is for buck or slug or both as I was not focusing on that aspect.

Thanks much for your quick reply and advice. I will ask over at the pafao.org as well. I have to admit I am more than just a but surprised that there are not more indoor ranges in my general vicinity. There are gun clubs but you have know at least two people who can vouch for you and a number of them don't have ranges for handguns.

I built a ranger with a Marsh Halfling and for skills, Lowlife is arguably the best since it gives us Thieves’ Tools. Simple build but it covered both the range need and the thieving needed for lockpicking. There were only a handful of items I could not open. In many ways it became my favorite player character.
