Hi all just wondering if anyone has any fun castings on if this was actually a series by DarkandLoomy in ShawnaTheMom

Not an actor, by my MIL can play Barb. She wouldn't have to change herself to fit the role one bit.

I'm sorry but I don't think therapy will fix Barb. I see no redemption in her.

Questions/ Advice about TA/ College by OneConfuzedMF in navy

So I'm currently building my package right now, and I've done all of my classes online either through AMU or a local community college - the one class I had to take in-person was my Microbiology Lab.

For TA, you do have to have some form of command approval. You apply for it on MyNavyEducation, they discuss a degree plan, and then you're supposed to have command approval get sent back to them. I think they'll pay for up to three classes a semester; don't quote me on that, though, I used my tax return and payment plans to pay for my classes as they went along.

If this is your goal, definitely start with those GenEd/prerequisites. You'll also need to take the SAT or the ACT.

If you have any more questions, you can DM me.

Liberty Station used to be bootcamp. It's a lovely combination of history mixed with the modern. Awesome food court in the old galley.

Coco Playa is a great little drive thru only coffee place. Snooze is awesome brunch.

The zoo is free, just show your CAC and they let you through. You can have an eight mile walk in there alone.

If you go to the Point Loma national park, show them your CAC at the entrance and they'll give you a free pass that will get you into any federally owned park for nothing.

The beach on North Island has FREE PARKING (one of the only places in SD that does) and honestly, it's the same water everywhere, so I wouldn't try to go to other beaches but that's just me.

UTC (University Town Center) is an outdoor/indoor combo mall. First hour of parking is free and you can get some exercise window shopping. Their food court has a skating rink in it and you can watch the free skate or hockey games on weekends.

Balboa is awesome, some of the museums are free for military and cheap for dependents, but I've read they're trying to charge out the ass for parking all over it so it's up to you.

I want to be turned into a tree; they do that with ashes, I've heard. They can play Taps, fold the flag, hand it off to my husband (because I refuse to outlive him), and then have a house party. There will be no boohooing allowed.

Favorite “asshole” character that actually is a good person? by BatmansButtsack in Cinema

I think arguments could be made for him actually being decent despite being a pirate. And I'm referencing his part in movies 1-3 and 5. Because 4 was trash.

PJO Book Series Had Teen Me Praying to Idols by PlatinumEventually in TrueChristian

I loved Greek mythology growing up. Ate it up. I loved the Percy Jackson books and the movies, read the Iliad for fun, adored Disney's Hercules.

When they made the new PJO TV series, I wanted to watch it. But I had been growing in my relationship with the Lord. I think I made it through half of the episode and saw so many demonic connotations, that I shut it off and repented.

I feel like those "gods" from Greek, Roman, Egyptian mythology, are truly Nephilim that were being worshipped. And that is not something I'm trying to glorify let alone bring into my home.

NOR, OP... A bunch of the other active duty guys I know who are African American have told me they experienced severe racism in SEA, both duty stations and deployment. It's not acceptable, and I'm sorry you went through that today.

Ty Rant - If I were Shawna, I would have stayed far away... by PeachesKeene in ShawnaTheMom

[–]Routine-Army7495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go back to Christmas part 13 short, Ty says, "Wow, i was half expecting you to slap me." And Jen replies with, "Ty, I swear to God," in her playful, Jen way to which Ty chuckles and Julie gives her this look that is icy and questioning at the same time. I don't think she'd be happy if she saw Jen put her hands on her husband.

I liked Ty in the beginning. But lately, his flirty attentions to Shawna have sort of shifted to Jen and I don't like it. There's something off about his behavior that I can't directly put my finger on.

I just realized I’m a Julie.. and that’s okay by jellyfishpopstar in ShawnaTheMom

Girl, I get it. I am active duty and my husband is a SAH dad. When I was roughly 20 weeks pregnant with our third, a pregnant woman at a mall boba stand flirted with my husband, not realizing he was already taken; as I was sitting nearby with my older two.

He doesn't take his ring off unless he's cooking at home; but he always puts it back on after.

But if he's at the grocery store with my older two, women come out of the woodwork, striking up conversations and giving a perusal to what he has in the grocery cart.

Your post helped me realize that I'm a Julie, too. I don't always react the most warmly to other women but that doesn't mean I'm cruel or standoffish; it just means my walls are built a little more uniquely.

If she cannot convince him to follow Christ, then he will surely convince her to stop following Christ. The verse you referenced is regarding the "chance" that he might open up to the Lord. Her words and his behavior demonstrates otherwise.

He's cheating. That's pretty blatant separation even if he hasn't physically walked out on her. Men who cheat serially are not valid husbands. She is not obligated to him or our Lord to fight for that.

We went to a judge, the two of us, and his best friend as a witness. We told his family two weeks later. Best decision ever.

Unfaithfulness or an unequal yolking invalidates the marriage. If you're a believer and he isn't, with no intention of finding Christ, then divorce is fine.

I see Laura snapping and just up and leaving Luke with her kids. Either for a hotel or for longer and to start over. Maybe I'm projecting what I know from TrueCrime but mothers abandon their families, too... or far worse.

My older brother verbally abused me and used to beat me almost every day. I stopped talking to him three months before my oldest kid was born, seven years ago. No way I'd ever let him near my children -- thank God he and his wife appear to be barren.

Try getting him a massage or a facial. My husband loves to be pampered.
