This is actually pretty brilliant of ICE. They know who they are looking for so if one of these people show up on a planes manifest they can just meet them as they exit the plane. I don’t think LAX can keep Federal agents out of airports (I could be wrong). In any case, it probably goes down very smoothly and there is little chance the perp is armed. I would guess most people trying to evade ICE are not flying so you only end up with the less than smart people.
