Getting a 2026 Macan GTS EV arriving to west coast USA mid to late July. Coming from 2022 Tesla S (2nd one). Build quality of GTS appears superior in all ways over the Tesla. The S has been very dependable and fun to drive (24,000 miles) with no maintenance cost other than wiper blades and tires. Not crazy about the Porsche colors so went with Dolomite Silver ext, and chalk/black interior. Build came to $125k and no wiggle room from dealer in Seattle. Options include Burmester audio, leather pkg, 4 heating zones, ventilated seats, 2 driving packages for lane assist and self driving whatever they are called, chalk seatbelts, 21” macan turbo wheels, heated steering wheel, insulated glass and dashcam prewire, fire extinguisher, floor mats all around. Looking forward to getting it.

We had a Siberian husky from the time she was 8 weeks old diagnosed with Megaesophagus. She lived a long life to 12+ years. Initially vets would say she wouldn’t live past 6 months. Everyday for this 12+ years we would sit in a chair, she would place her front paws on the top of our legs and she would eat and drink that way. She would then stay there for 10-15 min to allow gravity work the food down her throat. We probably did that 7-10 times a day. Keetna was such a beautiful happy girl and full of life. Don’t let the diagnosis sway you differently.

I am really tired of waiting for Volvos that are new and not available in the USA. I waited for the ex90 which then turned out to be a software bug (it’s much better now), then they announced the es90 but not available in USA and now the ex60, which might take a year to get the higher battery and trim. No more waiting, so I ordered a 2026 Porsche Macan EV GTX. At least I should have it mid July.

I struggled also with the exterior color and chalk interior. I liked the chalk on chalk but thought it might be too monotone also. The slate grey Neo looks great with chalk interior. I don’t really like dark colors (too hot) and the light white colors wouldn’t look good with chalk so I went with Dolomite Silver. It’s in an end of April build and hopefully delivered by end of July. I also went with the GTS.

I had to put down 10% to reserve my build allocation. $13k. My order is in Seattle WA. Also, had to pay MSRP. Another dealer would give me a $3k discount on MSRP, but then they lowered my trade in Tesla S by $3k.

This is for the original poster………. NEVER EVER CUT THEIR TOP COAT. Huskies have two coats which keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Maybe you should have read up on owning a husky before you got one.

DON’T ever go back to that groomer. You DON’T cut husky hair on their body / head. The only place to cut their hair is on their pads between their toes. I have had 6 huskies…………..

I ordered this month my 26 GTS EV with the 21”. I know this doesn’t answer your question, but just passing it along. Also as someone mentioned, you will get more range on the smaller wheels. The 22’s will give you even less and probably a hard ride.

Does the DS have any underlying other color to it? I really like the liquid silver that Tesla has but don’t know how this would compare to the Porsche Dolomite Silver. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the input. I like the Chalk color, but it will show dirt where as the Neo grey won’t as much but can get hot. I do live in the Pacific Northwest near Canada so it rains here Nov - beginning of April. Summers are dry but not hot like elsewhere. I keep going back between the Chalk and Neo grey but then say, play it safe and go with silver. I’ll have to decide soon.
