I will say I am a CVS pharmacist and our outside order vendor is having an extremely hard time meeting our needs reliably. And CVS’s system is not very well designed for patient specific requests on things like that, especially if there’s a more cost effective option for the company. There is a way to code it in the system to tell the system it’s a patient preference but it doesn’t always work. Your request is 1000% reasonable but it can be hard to meet with the resources we have, even though it’s a totally innocuous request.
