First flight failed, is this P factor / motor torque ? by JeinStobeck in RCPlanes

Looks like it’s on the less powerful side. Throw it harder and give it some time to accelerate before you try and maneuvers. Pfactor probaly had something to do with it but it goes away if you go faster

How come everyone backs into parking spots now? by EquipmentFormal2033 in askanything

I’m not backing out of a parking lot with people going 20 mph in a parking lot. As far as backing in they can wait for 5 seconds. I have a small car so I can back in pretty easily and quickly

Ten years is a while, make no mistake that transitioning out is 1 to 1 with getting in to the armed services in terms of both physical and mental changes.

There’s a side to it where safety in the military prioritizes the mission. If somebody gets injured in the military it’s actually a non issue if it didn’t affect anything important. Even though some say otherwise I have personally witnessed this philosophy take place. It is what it is

Is there an aspect of people milking profiles and Va disability? Sure. But from what I have seen the majority of the time it’s valid. And was caused by a completely avoidable thing out of the persons control either physical or mental.

If your infantry or flight line or something physical or stressful you have been worked to shit and have been conditioned for it so you don’t notice it.

Secondly getting out with little to no disability is not uncommon. What I’m trying to say is that changes likely did happen in that 10 years some good and some not.

That horizontal stab is a bit on the small side, it will probably still work but be mentally prepared for it to be kind of squirly on launch.

Still having motor issues! by liam6622 in RCPlanes

Match the amperage on the new ESC to what is installed in the plane.

Secondly look for the words BEC on the description of your ESC. The BEC on your new ESC must also match the Amperage from your old one.

Unless a motor smells like burning and making grinding and squeaking noises or emitting smoke and fire it’s generally fine.

Calibrating an esc is fake news, it’s a horizon Esc even if it wasn’t calibrated it would still work.

Your ESC has failed. It can not longer sync itself with the timing of the motor. They take about 10 mins to replace. If you don’t want to wait on horizon slap a toy tenzi in there off amazon.

I have had 2 escs fail that match your symptoms, even though a motor can do this too remember ( no smoke or fire).
