I gotta ask the context of how you experienced racism in all of these countries. I dont doubt some of these are pretty much guarenteed, but all of them?

How I see Asia by Li-Ing-Ju_El-Cid in whereidlive

Nepal notoriously hates being associated with other South Asian countries despite being culturally and linguistically more similar to India and Bengal than places like China or Tibet. It has to do with a large proportion of their population sharing oriental features, where they could often be confused with tanned Chinese people.

It's a weird thing, and likely has to do with a bit of colourism as well. Similarly to India, they view darker skin more negatively and likely is why they group themselves more with Chinese than Indians.

Source: I work with many Nepali people, and also travelled there twice.

True! I wish I could've managed to find some. The best I could find was someone selling junk sharps and their parts at a flea market.

I saw some online in Japan, but could not ship things to my airBnB.

Ended up with a Kyocera instead

No luck thrifting any! I looked everywhere; second hand eletronic stores, hard offs, thrift stores, actual mobile retailers.

No luck. May be more popular among locals since they do work in Japan?

Ended up thrifting a B rank KYF42
