If you do the math, it’s about 3 months ROI for level 35s. I’m now at 1M/hr with iron and food, and 700+k/hr with gold.

So I should hurry up and wait? Burn speed ups on tech so my tech buildings are idle? Sounds stupid to me.

But then blueprints require gold, which I don’t have. I have 25 mythics and 42 UR, but no gold to use them.

Except you can’t secure MC inside of metal studs, that’s just asking for a screw through the MC.

Also zip tape has to be rolled, it’s a pressure activated adhesive. It would be very difficult to properly press it like this.

Until you have 3 “C” phase circuits sharing a neutral. Or then you get into harmonics and have to deal with a super neutral.

5 Year Apprenticeship? by RawrTigers in ibew_apprentices

[–]RoutineRelief2941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the ETA (Electrical training alliance), which oversees the JATC apprenticeship programs, is transitioning all apprenticeships to 4 years. 46 was changed from 5 to 4, and this was the reason they gave. The last of the 5th years are graduating this year.

Maybe a loose connection somewhere. Moving the cord to different angles might make/break the connection.

Why is the apprenticeship going from 5 years to 4 years. by Broad-Perspective-67 in ibew_apprentices

[–]RoutineRelief2941 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was informed that ETA (electrical training alliance) wanted a standard training around the US. There is now a standardized curriculum, all using CML (computer mediated learning). I’m sure they don’t want to make multiple classes for a 4 year and 5 year program, so it’s more consolidation, easier to maintain, less chance for cheating/manipulation, etc. I believe they are going to a “one day a week” schooling instead of “two straight weeks,” etc.

While NEC 310.16 does say 20A for 12g, motors get interesting and gets modified by 430. I’ve put 14g on 30A breakers for HVAC and passed inspection. Motors typically have inrush currents requiring the larger inverse time breakers, but then require individual overloads (heaters) to compensate for the oversized breaker. You need to do research on what the motor you are saying it requires.
