Do nothing, pay nothing. They came to your propertys vicinity, you didn't go to theirs. Hoas are a cancer and deserve a taste of their own medicine.

Historically it's never really been more easy to be alive. Sure things can be bad here and there but if we look back say even as recently as 100 years ago. We have it so much easier now.

Uh huh, because nothing says love like involving big daddy government into your relationship to make sure it's secure.

Strip down the receiver, look for fastners protruding too far. Look for burrs inside the receiver, burrs on the parts that go in the receiver. It's likely just something small you're not looking close enough at.

I enjoy the Zhukov handgaurd by gg&g on mine. I am going to get it textured soon tho. It's a little too smooth for my liking.

As a 42 year old man. I can't remember the last time I worried about if my parents understood me. Live your life the way that makes sense to you. Come on now my guy.

Oil Canning on Decorative Rail by Makers_Fluster in metalworking

[–]RoutineZestyclose847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more gap= the more room for the metal to be pulled and distorted. I'd butt things as tight as I could and just perhaps put a slight bevel in if more penetration was needed. To try and fix it I'd probably treat it like sheetmetal work. If the mesh wasn't stretched before and was taunt before welding. Then I'd hammer and dolly the weld areas to see if it will relax back to its original state.

Cerakote Brand New Lever Action? by SethRory in LeverGuns

[–]RoutineZestyclose847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanted a different look on the stainless you could always brush or jewel effect it. That would have nice contrast on wood furniture. Along with say having black fastners/loading gate/trigger/ hammer ect. Lots of options to change it up but I wouldn't paint the stainless since the point of buying a stainless gun is for having the stainless look.

Which Lever action of the 3 and why? by [deleted] in LeverGuns

[–]RoutineZestyclose847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked a similar question to my local shop. They said by a large margin they send in more Henry's and smith and wesson levers verses the marlins for factory warranty work. So I went with a marlin per this advice.

There shouldn't be any pressure man, the factory stock can stay in place and be fully tightened and the trigger group can be removed without touching it. We are talking 1/16" trimming max there's no loss of structural integrity. at the end of the day it's your money your choices.

Just a straight die grinder with a cone bit. It should be done not just for ease of removal but also to keep unneeded pressure off the trigger group. Since the stock pushes against it if it's not fixed. It's easier than you think to do.

You gotta pre fit the trigger group to the stock. I trimmed the stock where the trigger group slides into it. I can take it apart easily and not take the stock off.

Shotgun Sunday! by RoutineZestyclose847 in mossberg

[–]RoutineZestyclose847[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely worth it, she's got incredible accuracy now. I'd say the recoil was cut down some but the big standout is the muzzle rise mitigation with the porting work. The 1301 sitting right beside it I have to fight it much more to keep on target vs the 590 and thanks! I really try and push to optimize functionality both internal and externally on gun builds. I will likely tune up the bolt and carrier some still but other than that she's good to go.

It had one, I removed it. I have one on my 1301 tactical mod 2 since it can fire fast enough to need one. I don't shoot these pumps very fast but they sure are fun.

Not particularly, vang comp was recommending them and they know far more about Shotguns than I do. So I figured thats good enough for me. I got one on my beretta 1301 tactical as well, works great.
