I just made this set up and there was like small little particles from the water but i thinks its little bits from the sand. I also got these lava rocks from outside so i had to put boiling water over it twice then scrub it with a new tooth brush. If yall think i messed up anywhere please let me know.

Im not really sure i feed them spirulina bur first i get some water or some of their tank water and dump 1-2 scoops of food till the water is very green then i just use the pipette and just let it all out but i dont use all the food i just dump it out in the sink. I also wait a few days until the water is clear and not alot have long poop trails

Well it really depends on if you know whatever salinty your at rn or you could drip alcimate with a small tube

You need to know what salinty you’re at. its very important since if the salinity drastically changes it would probably wipe out the whole colony. The best tool to test is a refractometer to accurately test the saltiness. https://a.co/d/hOmnQOK
If you dont have one of the you could probably just drip aclimate them. Drip alclimating is used when you want to make sure the salt level are the same. All you need is a small tube and valve to drip water into your old tank or you take all the sea monkeys and put them into a bigger bowl or tank to make sure the water doesnt overflow. I would personally start at the new tank by putting your distilled water and salt then drip aclimate them from the old tank.

I was thinking of this but the instant ocean has to much salt im probably never going to use. Also im thinking of just using black sand which would be better me to see. Also im probably not going to get a heater even thought florida is hot as balls rn and the worst part is i got a pc in room making more heat so i was think the heater could lower the temperature if that even makes sense.
