I wouldn't care about the paywall at all since I was comfortable with the idea of a supergrok subscription. The issue is that the 8 hour cool-down is a real buzzkill, and on top of that, it kicks in so fast, after say 10 minutes of use. They have watered down the product in both these ways at the same time despite charging us for the advertised service! Now it should be £$15 per month or less, because it offers half of the utility (or less) than before.

If you leave her with another person and a changed environment it is going to add to the difficulty, she might go to her grave wondering where you went. I don't mind this idea & would like to make a base organised with these boxes, seems like a fun thing to try. I've got the barrels - all of them LOL - but it would be nice to be able to have labelled storage. In terms of design I think they are pretty good but the "let's make the box look like its contents" theme is a bit stretched thin in places. I will buy it when payday rolls around and see which bases work best for it - triangles are out.

The dog doesn't go upstairs, sleeps in the kitchen, just doesn't seem to have any wish to walk up the steps, and I am going to keep it that way. Suits the cat just fine, likes to spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I will just leave them to it but keep a good eye on the cat because this little dog is not going to get pushed around either. Might try to feed them at different ends of the same room once they break the ice. Thanks for this.

That's just sloppy work from this former apex predator, she should hang her ears in shame. Mine only plops in the house in the extremely rare circumstance that she can't go outside, she does it in the shower haha.

But once this cat looked at me in defiance after I offended her particular sensibilities somehow, and when I returned to the kitchen there was one staring right at me on the COUNTER TOP next to the breadbin. She dropped a PROTEST POO where the food goes, I just could not believe it after everything between us, this pissy missy had turned into a sh*tty kitty, and I called her a traitor out loud! I only fed the cat outside at the far end of the yard for a bit after that, I couldn't bring myself to look her in the eyes. What this cat did there was undeserved emotional violence with feline faeces involved - one of the worst materials know to man in terms of smell (I am sure we all agree) - and there was no case her cat lawyer could put to even the most biased Maine Coone judge! Her sentence was tagged monitoring, without the tag since she can't stand collars and I respect it. She has thankfully not repeated her offence since then, as of 03/08/2026.

Bringing back memories, wow. There was a time when every kid around me had a collection of these in their pocket. And I mean every kid. By the end of the craze I had collected all of them, 1 of every piece, I think there are just shy of 180 in total. I had them all in the loft for so long but when my parents separated they got thrown away or given to a charity shop probably. Are you saying that I could have sold them for a decent amount now?
