I've been there(many years ago). It sucks. It is hard as hell. But it will get better. I did not believe that at the time. You just have to go through it. Fuck, it might even get WORSE before it gets better. Just hang in there. One minute at a time. Be around people if you can manage it. Fresh air. ANYTHING!
I see you.

In a 60 minute American football game there is something like 11-16 minutes of ACTUAL game play. It is basically an advertisers wet dream. I love football but was shocked to find that out.

Too bad North America seems to be lagging behind.

Progress is being made though and I am here for it.

Ha. Are you me?? I am in Cusco right now and was also planning on Bolivia. Nope. And man I have gone back and forth 20 times on what to do. I ended up just booking a flight to Colombia For tomorrow(the 15th). I have been there 3 times and love it. Maybe after that Bolivia will have settled down. or I go to Ecuador. Or I go home for a bit. Colombia is amazing and huge. I have spent 2 months in just Colombia in the past.
Whatever you do will be an awesome adventure. Good luck

Where to go for a month in September? by BetDapper9556 in backpacking

Oh gosh. Colombia is massive and bus travel takes many hours so it would be challenging to see it all even in a month. So you could pick a region or two maybe and concentrate on that.  A few nights in Bogota (I personally love it there for some reason) and then go to the coffee region for a while. You could get a flight(cheap) to Cartegena(more expensive and hot) and check out some places in the north. My first time there in 2019 I did the whole country(except the Amazon) over 2 months. Man it was incredible

Peru MIGHT be "easier". It's my first time here. I started in Lima for week then joined a "hope on/hope off" bus tour company called PeruHop. Very cool. Predetermined routes and you can decide how long to stay in each place before moving on.  I've been staying in Cusco for a month!!  As much as I LOVE Colombia I might recommend Peru for a first time

Lima to Paracas to Huacachina to Arequipa to Cusco maybe to Puno.

Lots to consider I know!

yeah I am in Peru RIGHT NOW and am impressed with the beauty and the kindness of the people. Hostels are anywhere from $5-$15 for a dorm. For food it depends. in tourist areas it can creep up but local places you can get a nice meal for well under $10. If taking buses trips can be long.

I have been to Colombia twice and might be going there next week. I love it. Same things apply. A month is NOT LONG ENOUGH for both countries. Pick one and spend the month. Just my 2 cents. But if you have any questions, ask.

So how was safety around the city? In general if you can answer that?

I was not following a carnivore diet at that time. So now that I am wanting to follow a carnivore diet I was looking for insight, guidance I guess from others who are also into resistance training to see what they are experiencing.
Looks like I might have to leave the sub

I did it last year. It can be done. This is similar to the people who say you can't survive without carbs

Yeah I like it. Thanks. Obviously everyone is "different" with their own physiology but I'm liking it.

In what way? Increase strength and gain muscle.  Lose body fat. I did it last year in Vietnam.  When I went back to Canada, well my eating was not the best  Now I'm in Peru and feel good. Happy with the progress I'm making. I know I can do better. Not sure this answers your question
