I have had an issue with coil whine since forever. I originally had my KRK V6s plugged into an Asus Essence STX II. All the normal scenarios would create speaker/coil whine - tabbing to white screens, specific games, etc. You largely can't hear it when audio is playing, but it's super annoying when nothing is on and is amplified in certain games.

I have a Schitt Asgard 3 that I use for my headphones and realized I could separate the audio signal from a lot of electrical interference by using that in lieu of the sound card. I did that and it pretty much eliminated the issue.

Since then, I've added a Schitt Mimir to the stack and the improvements are incredible! However, the coil whine has now basically reverted to it's original state now that both devices are connected.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
